You both got really lucky. Glad you’re ok.
Where can i get side box original kawasaki 650?
Thank you for sharing. Please get her more gear to ride. If you can’t afford it start a go fund me and I will pitch in buddy! Kudos for sharing the video and I’m glad you guys are ok. She is a tough young lady!! God bless!
You abandoned your channel
I really don't like the Puig
Right down to the defense lawyer of RA
Where are you now? No new updates? I am missing you.
Why no more videos?????
Iron horse, Good video. Do you still have this bike? If so, any maintenance issues/problems to be aware of? If not, what bike do you currently have in place of the versys 650?
Cycle gear good place to start, be safe have more fun
Firstly I'm glad your daughter and yourself were OK, and glad you say you have learned your lesson. Riding with no gear is crazy especially when you have it but just choose not to wear it. Then there is the fact when you go back to the site your daughter still isn't geared up, what lessons are you teaching her ? Also pillions should always be dismounting first while your on the bike, leaving her sat on the back on the side stand is also pretty stupid.
I am planning on getting a 2022 Versys 2022. I was considering just getting the engine guard, but when I saw you and your daughter walk away with no injuries after a lowside without the luggage protectors, I think I should get those just to be sure too. Absolutely nuts!
Like your videos. Would love to see more.
didnt even know they had the 500 in the US. wouldnt imagine threes a market. The 883 is barely more power and a perfect learner bike. We have the 500 here in aus because we are restricted to 650cc for learners
I still can't believe after that crash you take your child out with no armoured clothing. CRAZY STUPID
Ur a creep I’m onto u
People did see a vehicle and a person
Bet u know something. Mister know it al
In to u boi!
4:48/52. U sound a bit weird there
It’s probably u iron horse
Nice bike. The versys is a very capable motorcycle but I sure as hell wouldn't want to live around there with those worthless wind tubines ( sky junk )
Busy little spot.
ALWAYS let your passenger get off the bike before you do! ALWAYS

It's a hoot it's a blast. Dude you're awesome
Thank God your both okay.
It’s never the bikes fault 😭
I just bought a Kawasaki Z 400. it had a Yoshimura aftermarket muffler on it when I bought it from the original owner with 1500 miles on it. He was a beginner and wanted something small to start out on, but he was Way over 6 feet tall and about 250 pounds, so he needed something roomier. when I first bought the bike I could not stand that muffler. It was just way way too loud and obnoxious. I would not do that to my neighborhood, no matter how sparsely populated it is. My son and my wife told me they could hear me coming for the last two minutes when I was coming home one day. So I bought a standard muffler on eBay for $35. The first thing I noticed was, that there was no more dead spot just off idol in throttle response, and, I now found a buzz in the foot pegs and the seat at highway speed’s. I remember a fix for vibrating mirrors I learned back in the 70s. You get a stick on we’ll wait, and put it on the mirror to change the frequency that the mirror response to at certain RPMs. So I took the stainless steel rear cap off of my stock muffler and I stuck 2 ounces of wheel weights to the muffler behind that stainless steel muffler end cap.. The vibration went away. I knew it was the muffler causing the vibration because it was not there before I installed the standard muffler. I like your video. I am considering buying a 650 LT because I have been used to having saddlebags .I recently sold my Honda GL 1800 Goldwing, my Moto guzzi Norge, and my Honda Pacific coast, which is the best commuter all around useful motorcycle in the universe. I commuted on that machine 27 miles a day nine months of the year rain or shine for 24 trouble free years.. all three of those machines had bags. My Z 400, I now have a tank bag on and a seat bag but that just barely carries the essentials like tire repair kit, 12 V compressor, water, baby wipes, face shield cleaning spray, maps, jacket liner, rain suit, and I have no room to carry something as small as a half gallon of milk.. so I’m thinking of going to the 650 LT to get the bags. My Z 400 Kawasaki has plenty of power, almost 50 hp. It will do 80 miles an hour all day on the interstate, and I get 82 miles per gallon which is stunning to me. My goldwing got 34 miles to the gallon, my guzzi got 42 miles to the gallon, my Pacific coast got 48 miles per gallon. you mentioned a gear position indicator. My Z 400 has one. I changed from a 14 tooth countershaft sprocket to a 15 tooth, and my gear position indicator quit working and my check engine light came on. thank goodness for onboard self diagnostic code readings. I got a code 21 which said gear position indicator failure. A new one was $174. I got a used one for $34 on eBay, I installed it, and my check engine light was still on and my gear position indicator did not work.. after much reading, it turns out that the ABS system on the machine or the computer on the machine could see that the transmission was turning at a different rate from the rear wheel, and the computer through a code because it saw something was different. it turns out to fix the problem, just disconnecting the battery like you can on a car doesn’t make the code go away. The fix is, let the bike idle for 30 seconds, then ride for at least 10 minutes above 25 miles an hour. Do that three times in the check engine light goes off and the gear position display on the dashboard started working again. One thing I do not like about today’s motorcycles is, ABS brakes, and you have to marry the dealer with some of these electronic issues. The reason I do not like ABS brakes is, they actually stop working. I experienced that on my BMW K 1200 LT on a downhill fly ash covered road on my way to a camping ground. I just touch the brakes, and both front and rear brakes did not work because they detected that the wheel was trying to stop spinning. I went all the way down that hill without brakes and ran into a cyclone fence to stop. I was actually dragging my feet trying to stop on that hill.. my Moto guzzi. also had ABS brakes, but, they had a big button on the dashboard you could press to turn the ABS system off so you would have brakes on slippery gravel roads or if you got caught in the snow which happened to me a few times commuting .. I wish they would quit coming up with fixes for problems that don’t exist. ABS brakes and traction control is for idiots.. take your 650 out on a dirt road and nail the brakes and see what happens. I’ll tell you what will happen, your hand break in your foot pedal will feel like someone opened the brake bleeder.. I want to thank you for telling me about the heat blowing onto the riders legs on hot days. I have had two motorcycles that roasted me on hot days. As soon as I discovered that, I sold those motorcycles immediately one of them was a Honda 700 saber. That thing put out so much heat, I could have roasted a turkey on my lap on hot days. heat coming off the radiator has kept me from buying a Kawasaki 1400 sport touring bike. It also kept me from buying the Yamaha FJR 1300 in the past… I was considering buying this bike just because it comes with bags, but now that I have found out that it is a leg roaster, it’s off my list. I’ll stick with my Z 400 which I feel no heat coming off of even at stops. I want bags, hard bags that lock,, Maybe I’ll put a luggage rack and locking trunk on my Z 400 instead.. as for the heat from the engine roasting your junk, Gold Bond menthol talc in generous amounts helps. Also, go on eBay and buy directly from Scotland, a sheepskin. I just bought another one, it was under $30. A sheepskin breaths.. it is cool when it’s hot out, and it’s warm when it’s cool out. Not to mention that is additional padding. It never feels hot even when it’s sitting in the sun like a bare seat feels in the sun.. I have a bottle that sprays a very fine mist. You put water in it, you give a few strokes to the pump to pressurize the bottle, and a fine mist comes out of the hose wherever you want to clip it. It’s called a misty mate. I have a small one and a large one. The large one holds about a liter of water and will last for about an hour of constant spraying. When I stop at a stop sign or red light, I will spray around my neck with the mist coming out of the brass jet at the end of the hose. Very effective. I always wear a bandanna to keep my helmet from getting stinky greasy, and when it’s hot out, I soak that bandanna and put it on wet. The hotter it is, the faster the evaporation, and the faster it calls you. If you’re ever crossing Arizona in the summertime, stop into a secondhand store like a Salvation Army or a Goodwill and buy a cloth heavy winter coat. saturate that coat with water, and you can cross the desert on 110° day without feeling hot, actually, it feels almost uncomfortably cold until you get used to it or until the coat is dry. You will have to soak it several times depending on how long you will be crossing those hot deserts but it works.. I always wear the Kevlar pants, motorcycle. road racing boots, and a padded mesh jacket for riding motorcycles if it’s hot, or a leather motorcycle jacket when it’s not hot. When it’s really cool, I will wear my one piece aero stitch suit and an electric vest which I used for at least 15 years commuting. but when it’s very hot, the mesh jacket is not as effective as a soaking wet jacket like a Levi jacket with pockets on it that you can fill with ice for your commute..I know that a Levi jacket is not much protection from road rash, but it is very effective when the temperature goes above 85° when it is soaking wet and the pockets are filled with ice cubes. I’ve done that for years and years on my return trip home in hot weather from work
Keep speaking the truth! :)
Hi, can you inform the PUIG Product code?
That place is kidnappers paradise.
Ffs no boots no protection road tyres and a young life. Ride safer she still has no leathers I'm glad your crash bars are fine and the bike is OK. You can replace a bike but not a life. Why did you post this. Think about their safety she's still not protected. Enough said
hello, thank you for the demonstration I find your crash bar very simple and easy to install, I would like to know if they are compatible with a Versys 650 vintage 2019? thank you for your reply .
U sell this?
Second ride. Your daughter still not wearing gloves!
Nice job, I`ve got similar idea and im gonna make something like that on my versys too 👍

Question: would proper off-road or multi-use tires have allowed the 40 mph speed?
Most definetely yes
Probably the 2 things that I would never see together but yes today
Someone know's this creep. Come forward. He think's he's safe. But you're not pig. There gonna get you. I hope you are watching you peace of 💩💯
No more videos ??
thank you, it was interesting to see the place, especially down the creek near the crime scene! We do have enough pics of the monon bridge, no worrys.
Do they protect blinkers?
Plenty of guys and honestly to put that online... best wishes
Guys, for cold weather riding use big black garden trash bags under your riding gear and you won't believe the difference in wind protection. Also there is no substitute for leathers. Custom from Vanson are the best in the USA.
