      I would recommend the 161w. Having size 11 boot you want to try to get on a wide board. Less toe and heal drag. With your height and weight I’d try to keep you around that 160 length. If you’re looking for more of a park only board go for the 157w. www.buzzsboardsusa.com/products/lib-tech-t-rice-pro-snowboard-2025

    so this triple camber is basically magnatracttion like mervin does on their boards? ive never had anyone give a concise answer on what it is other than marketing. It sounds like triple camber would lose all the snap and pop that the traditional Mervin boards w/ mag would give you.

    Excellent video Man. Your true reaction, explanation of what you are trying to do in the moment, do next, along with descriptions and responses of how the board is performing during the ride is very helpful. Being able to see how a board rides for a few mins by a passionate good rider on different parts of the hill and snow from that camera angle is clutch. I feel it is difficult to convey the personality of a board solely through words to someone who has not ridden it and your video format did a great job of showcasing the boards personality. Your truthful stamp of approval and expression of confidence and excitement in a board coming from a passionate good rider like yourself goes a long way too. I am looking forward to more videos (in the same format) of your take on, and riding of, more Burton boards. I have a 2022 custom. Solid board for sure. stability, edge hold, speed, springy. Bought the proper size for my weight in 2022. Lost 30 lbs since then. Now I find the oversized board is a little too hard to control. Debating another custom in a smaller size or a home town hero, custom x, deep thinker, process. I ride Green-double black on midwest groomers, free ride freestyle, minimal powder and no terrain park. Please do more videos of Burton boards. Home town hero, process, deep thinker, custom x, etc. Do you already have thoughts on any of these compared to the custom.

    Nowadays i hate the Custom Camber. They become wider and wider. I had a Custom 158 with Width 248 mm. The 2025 is 254 mm. This cause worse edge to edge agility. I also dont like the Channel-System. In my opinion you dont need endless stance and angle variations and the alu-rail affects the flex of the board.

    Thanks for the review. Became a subscriber. You said it's too much board in powder, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Did it float well overall? Did you like it in powder? I own the 150 and I'm thinking about getting the 156 (I'm afraid the 156 could be much stiffer than the 150). The 156 is also a lot wider than the 150 (252 vs 259). For ref I'm about 175 lbs with size 9 boot. I took it to Loveland two weeks ago and it performed decent in powder and great on groomers. The board is super light and you're right it's very fast. The flex of the 150 is slightly below medium I was able to whip it around effortlessly. If you have the 150 in your shop, Could you compare the flex of the 2 sizes and give us your feedback? Thanks again. Awesome channel!

      @BuzzsBoards Месяц назад

      It depends on your main style of riding. If you’re mostly riding all mountain the Stratos will be the choice, if groomers and getting after big turns the Carver 6000s will be the choice for that. The best is to demo them before you buy! 🤘🏼

    I love it - how does the 6000 do with straight-line speed? I know the 9000 is designed more for speed, just wondering if speed is a no-no with the deep sidecut on the 6000. I want something I can do playful carves on when skiing with my kids on the groomers, but but still be able to fuel my need for speed when I’m on the slopes alone. Great review showing how easy it is to carve on that thing.

    • @BuzzsBoards

    • @BuzzsBoards
      @BuzzsBoards Месяц назад

      They are completely different... To explain it the easiest, The Orca is an All Mountain Pow Board and the T.Rice Pro is a All Mountain Park Board

    • @devinbest3398
      @devinbest3398 27 дней назад

      I have both a t rice pro 155 and a golden orca 161. The t rice pro is definitely softer and easier to butter and jib around with, and the golden orca is far superior in terms of powder float. Aside from that and the camber zones being different, these boards are fairly similar. I'd say the golden orca is more stable through chop and chunder as well, though I chose the t rice pro for my park board because it's just a little more comfortable on board slides.
