Good point, I forgot about that during the making of the video. So I guess the only way this is possible is to buy the game.

Just in time for the wipe next week. Also, they know that craft's rolls shouldn't be seen beforehand. I mean, the item technically isn't "crafted" yet. They've gone back and forth on this a couple of times. I bet it will go back to being unidentified once again.
I wished it stayed this way but I know it doesn't make too much sense because like you said it hasn't been crafted yet.

This can be done with all items that are popular. If you have the dedication you can check every merchant on every character there is most likely profit somewhere always
You're right, I've tried it with the other merchants but grimsmile rings are the most consistent way I found to make gold. I did once make 12k off some adventure boots I bought off the jack-o-lantern merchant, haven't seen boots like that since.
dumb video only works towards end of wipe ur better off just going to farm gold ore lmao nothing comes easy!
If they decide to keep the rolls known then this method should work almost always. Even before the rolls were revealed I still did this method and although it wasn't as profitable it still made decent gold. Regardless, I agree farming for gold ore would be a quick method.
It only works once the quests for the good item crafts come out tho. Usually not at start of wipe but you won't have to wait until end of wipe to do this.
so, what i do to make gold is go into HR as a rogue in goblin caves, and without fail I will constantly see named being run, even earlier in the wipe, selling fulgors and deathblooms etc. tough fights but the profit is crazy.
If you're getting named items off people that's insane! I no where near that skill level to confidently take on someone so geared.
Step 1: Buy grimsmile rings with gold bar, 300 gold coins, golden tooth Step 2: ??? Step 3: Profit
