The 2017 and 2019 sons of Garay and Jacinta, Rio and Tapadero. Some of my favorite moments on the mountain have involved the stallion Garay and his offspring, who I've always found to be bold, curious, and gregarious. In 2019, Rio was a very social 2 year old, still spending most of his time with his natal band, but frequently venturing out to engage with other young stallions, including his ol...

The young stallion London has gained his first band and has a lot to learn about polite courtship after having the spent the last six years climbing the ranks among the bachelors. The experienced blue roan mare Bacardi will school him well in the ways of love.

Out of curiosity as to how my horses would respond, I placed an object that they have no history with in the middle of their paddock and then filmed their reactions. I enjoyed watching the variation in how they responded, each one an individual, with a different mix of curiosity and suspicion.

This was filmed shortly after introducing my grey gelding Maven to his new pasture mates. Maven and Blue seem to share some common interests!

Pryor Mountain Mustangs 2015 - With Cloud
London is one of my favorite stallions! I like this video even more after I saw them in person plus, Willow and Windsor!
It seems like Vivianna likes Chief Joseph. I saw them on june 22 with Steve and Nancy Cerroni! She was running in circles around Chief Joseph and when he tried to mount her she would just turn the opposite direction and run! It was an unforgettable experience!
Oh wow! She was quite fixated on Chief Joseph! During this particular round in late July, her family stood near the spot that I was filming. Orlando never took his eyes off of her, but he never went to snake her home and seemed very deferential to Chief Joseph himself. I think Chief Joseph would have preferred she leave him alone, and the rest of his band wanted nothing to do with her. Tor kept trying to run her off, and that band kept to themselves more and more as the summer wore on with Encore and Pillar both pregnant.
@@strangeattractor108 Interesting! When I was there Vesuvia was in heat and was pretty much doing the same thing with Orlando so, he was not paying attention to Vivianna. Eventually Vivianna ran back to the band. It was so interesting to observe that behavior. If you go to the 'Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center's album of the 2021 foals, you can see a photo Nancy took of Vivianna running back to her band!
J’adore....Merveilleux, que d’amour!,,,,,,,,
Horses don't act cool because of their friends. They're just cool and they know it!!
Fascinating! Thank you for sharing this untamed footage.
Better without the annoying music, Dude!!
Thanks for helping me win "comment section bingo"!

get your kicks, on Route 66
Bolder has always been one of my favorites. He is so handsome. I was really hoping he would pass down his beautiful color. I am hoping his son Killian will pass down this darker palomino color even though he is a light palomino. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for sharing. I love that you filmed this. It is all natural wild horse behavior and i love to see the stallions at their best prancing around and looking so handsome!

Bolder is beyond stunning. He gets more and more handsome with age. Sure wish his daddy would pop up
She's such a cute little mustang foal! 🐎💗 💙 😍 Make more wild horse film please, make the films longer and also change the category from the other videos of the horses from "Film & Animation" to "Pets & Animals". Mustangs are my favorite horse breed, I've been subscribed your amazing channel and I'm African American with native American Indian descent. I've been learning about mustang horses in native American culture for years. Greetings from New York, City to you from the Pryor mountains of Wyoming and Montana!!! 👍 🇺🇸
Videos from my trip this summer coming soon! Glad you enjoy them! I hope you get to visit the Pryor Mountains someday!
I love Silver Bow so much she’s my favorite foal of 2018
She is so precious!
Lovely video, i've taken pictures f them from Beaufort's waterfront
you can’t see the island from beauforts waterfront tho
London band is very cute I think with an « old » mare with her young sister and the beautiful Petra . I think Bacardi won’t have a foal next year for sure she is sterilized with PZP . I hope London will be more galant with his girls but he is young
I think London has a lot to learn about mares, having been orphaned as a young colt and basically raised with the bachelors. He didn't have the benefit of spending his first few years under the care of his mother and aunts, and didn't have band stallion role model after that first year either. Bacardi will school him well! I'm very interested in how his life will unfold. At a young age, he's already been at the heart of several legendary Pryor dramas!
@@strangeattractor108 London and Petra now have a lovely bay filly that was named "Tierra"
@@leavrhovec2770 I heard that! The foal looks so much like her gorgeous father. I will be heading up the mountain later this summer to film and photograph and am looking forward to seeing this family!
@@leavrhovec2770 Coming back to the vid a year later lol. Quanneah got Taiga last year too in June, he also added Galena, Quintasket and Noble in 2 years! The band is even more beautiful now and I hope to see a Quintasket and Noble babies maybe in 2021 😄🤞
You got your wish! Noble and Quintasket both had beautiful babies in 2021! And Petra had her 2nd, the sturdy young Valhalla. I was with the band on the morning of Valhalla’s birth and have some wonderful clips I’m still pulling together. It’s been a delight to watch London mature as a band stallion and see this band grow!
Cloud has been missing since 2015
Yes he has. This was filmed in June/July 2015, a few months before the last confirmed sightings.
@@strangeattractor108 Do i get it right, that he was 20 years old? I think, that 's an amazing age for a free mustang, isn't it?
Andreas Menz you are correct, he turned 20 in 2015 and he showed up for Ginger Katheren to get video. The last confirmed sighting was November 8, 2015 with a photo showing him plump and healthy. Ginger was on the ridge of Teacup Bowl where an unconfirmed sighting may have been Cloud through trees in May 2016. All other palominos and light buckskins had already been sighted that day only leaving the only possibility for it to have been Cloud. I don't feel that Cloud died in 2015 or even 2016. If he is truly gone, it's been more recent. There's been a few disappear for several months or even years then pop back up, I am still holding onto hope that he will resurface.
Amazing video! Thanks for the Credit :)
Thanks for the music! I thought the piece fit the mood perfectly!
Totally perfect! Do you think you can change the credit link to be AGsoundtrax.com ?
I added your link to the notes under the video. Let me know if you prefer it to be displayed any differently :)
Leila Strickland That's perfect! Thanks so much :)

GO JAX!!!!!! xoxoxoxo
Copeland Casati He is a star. I can't take my eyes off of him! Love that horse so much!
I am so thrilled he is with you. We were new to (real) riding and had no advanced experience, much less training experience. After the long time to finally admit Jax + I were a terrible combination (I was green, and tentative), my biggest fear was that he'd be "passed around" from one starry-eyed dressage-dreaming girl to the next vs. working with and loving one person who would help him to be the horse he deserved to be. He now has the life he deserves! He was always beautiful, but in your video I can see how *truly happy* and well-adjusted and stable he now is. I am extremely grateful to Carey who trained him up then took the time and care to place him with the right rider and home. I will be forever his Rockstar Groupie, admiring from afar his beautiful dazzling-ness! I am so thrilled he got the rider he deserved who loves and grows him! : ) xo P.s. I am no longer a push over or green. Phew.
Copeland Casati, it sounds like it all worked out for the best for you, me and Jax. If you have any information about his history prior to you, I'd love to know more about where he came from...everyone I know just shakes their head when I tell them his cross...who ever heard of a Perch/Arab? Every day, I wonder which side of him is going to meet me at the gate. He has turned out to be "a lot of horse", and some days I feel like I'm a little over my head with him too, to be honest. But I don't have any agenda or time frame for him...we'll just see how far we can get in the next 20 years! I love his happy, playful attitude, and would never want to deaden that through training...I've never met a horse with so much "enthusiasm", lol. I know he'd be lovely for dressage, but he gets pretty antsy with a lot of repetitive training and seems to enjoy more interesting obstacle/trail work, so I agree, it would be a shame for him end up with someone hell-bent on competing in dressage with him. I take lessons on a retired 3rd level dressage horse so that I can get my fix for perfection and not demand it of silly Jax (Maven). Anyway, he's a great horse...if you are ever down in NC and want to stop by and visit, just let me know!
