Former NCAA wrestler here, you need to put your forehead into the INSIDE of the knee of the ankle you’re attacking. Your forearm and hand position is spot on. If I was competing against you, and you shot a low single with your head down and not locking my knee in place, I would sit away (to your left) and get a leg lock while simultaneously straightening the leg you’re attacking over the back of your head (due to your head position) and you would either release and I would gain back position or I would continue to scoot my hips behind you while maintaining heavy pressure with the leg that is on top of your head. If you are trying to avoid a submission, cheers. I’m a novice there. But from a high level wrestling POV, your head position could spell your doom.
