LOADED DICE - Would You Believe

LOADED DICE: Rollin' Thunder Down Under in the '70s and '80s Ah, Loaded Dice. The very name conjures up images of smoky pubs, overflowing pints, and headbanging to Aussie rock that was pure, unadulterated pub gold. This Perth band wasn't about stadium anthems or radio polish; they were about sweat, swagger, and belting out tunes that made you wanna throw your hands in the air and sing along, ev...

My heart aches, my soul weeps, For dear Daniel, my clubbing mate. Our nights were filled with laughter, And beats that echoed through the air. But now you're gone, so far away, And I'm left with memories to hold. Of dance floors bright, and drinks to toast, Of Mardi Gras and friendships forged. Oh, how I miss your smile so bright, Your energy that filled the night. But though you're gone, your ...

Браво Инглиш!!! Лондон есть Центр Вселенной!!!! Город в котором Революция не кончается Всегда!!!! Актуален вопрос! Что было сначало? Яйцо или курица?
What is this?, I randomly stumbled upon this,
Solascioes!
Those trousers!!🤣
They didn’t wear “flares”, the trousers were called “bags”. Or more specifically “Oxford bags” if they had the side pockets.
Pretty sure they hit a few chemists on the way
All the diet pills and chewing gum. Reminds me of the 90's at the Haćienda. 😉
Great dancing indeed ❤Thankyou
Love seeing people dancing happy indeed ❤❤❤Thankyou
Looks like they were having the time of their lives.
Awww my baby brother and his mate began travelling up to Wigan Casino when they were young teens. My brother was still going in the UK and abroad to Weekenders until recently and has just become unwell. He has a vast Northern Soul collection of vinyl and its still a massive part of his life. He's just turned 66 x 🥰
Still dancing like no one is watching in July 2024. KTF
Twisted wheel overnight and the first train home from Piccadilly to Bolton. Happy days.

Totally agree!
Now thats northern soul
The best ,just the best ever, i love northern soul... the spinner at the end AMAZING!!
Butlins skegness 1979 first time i see northern soul dancing. They was all dancing in the same manner, it was strange to me as a londoner. They are still dancing exactly the same ways to northern soul now and will be doing so in another hundred years time. the music and dance routines stand the test of time even the youngsters dance the same moves nowadays
Wow does this take me back I was brought up in wigan just watching these old films of wigan and northern soul it's totally different from the wigan I once new I live in Ramsgate kent now but i would do it all again tomorrow
had one in the 60s. The wheel to start the player had a curious function - it started the record rotating but the more you turned the wheel the faster the record played - i dont remember many songs on the records at normal speed - Little Brown Jug in particular, Oh dem golden slippers and Billy Boy!
I used to be one of the in crowd at the all nighters back in the 70s take benzadrex inhaler a chew as fast as you could and spin around on the dance floor felt great. everyone in awe of us 😅
Once hitch hiked to Wigan Casino as a wee lass 😅
No just speed freaks dancing the night away, with not a care in the world, 👍
Whizz heads night out 🙈
I am dancing in this vid at 52 seconds (red waistcoat) at the back, didn't want my mum to see me !
Gold!! They looked like amazing times.
@@mybestoldmusicvideo Yes, petrol was 25p a gallon, family loaf of bread was 30p, the skirt I'm wearing cost me £3 to make; no shops sold "northern soul" clothes, they were made to order. No alcohol was sold, no food, just soft drinks and dancing - alot of legal drugs of course used illegally, usually script stuff: 10 blueys for £1. You can see why Wigan was shut down, no commercial entities made any money from it
Im interested in the buy. I have mostly hwy sets

Briefly at 1.06sec is Koe Donnelan who I worked with at the Navada in Bolton for about 18months from Jan 1974. I wonder what happened to him. Brian H
That should be Joe Donnelan of course. He was from Atherton or Leigh
