현아 돌아와라..
this video exemplifies that a big serve means nothing if its not accurate and you're not prepared for the return. biggest serve ever and she lost the point.

👍
And tomorrow he's playing Djokovic in the 4th round of AO after beating Alexander Zverev in a 5 set thriller!
Hyeon hits a heavy ball and his strokes are very clean. Amazing!
very nice !!!!!
Sabine also hit a 203 km/h (126 mph) serve in the same tournament, against Daniela Hantuchova. I can’t swear that the gun is accurate here but it does look very fast (at 13:54). To me this shows that the serve shown in the video above was no fluke; ruclips.net/video/6fDfzdDDAUg/видео.html
+Treviscoe Crrection; it was two years later at the same venue. Apologies for the inaccuracy.
Lol he's above six feet ranked in sixties after one year pro and just won first round at U.S. open in straight sets
The return is just a block . Anyone can block a serve. Does'nt matter anyway. If you look closely Sabine foot faulted . Lol. Crappy linesman.
gay
I think this guy is now almost 6'1", LOL. ATP profile says 6' but I think he might have grown more,,
now 6'2"!!
Come on... own up. Who spent most of the time watching the nearer girl's ass? :)
why only 10 seconds?? :'(
Not even male players can return 130mph serve effectively. This returner does and wins the point. Interesting...
She moved and the ball went straight onto her racket. That doesn't happen with the men.
She blocks it back . Which is all you can do with a serve that fast unless your Murray Nadal or Djokovic. The ball would still have lots of pace as the serve is pretty damn fast to begin with . Serving with that much effort to get a serve that fast she will of not had time to recover after hitting it. Hence she is rushed to return a fast return and loses the point. The other girl clearly read it. Notice how quickly she reacts.
She hit one 131mph today at Stanford Classic. This time it's official.
sabine silly as that.achieves record and misses the point.
Nice return.
The ATP and WTA only recognize records set at events that employ IDS radar guns. Any event using a speed tracking system by another company is not recognized by the men's or women's pro tour. Even Hawkeye (which is used on those tours and can also measure serve speeds) is rejected as an "official" measurement of speed because IDS and IMB have contracts with the grandslam tournaments (and several others), and the ATP and WTA probably want to remain consistent when it comes to tracking records.
Also, there is no legitimate source that credits Venus Williams with hitting a 130 serve at Zurich, nor is there any video confirmation of it. Lisicki DOES have video confirmation for her 130 serve, even though the WTA doesn't officially acknowledge it because it was an event where data was not collected by the
How am I "wrong" when this video demonstrates Sabine Lisicki hitting a 210k in Bali? Clearly, she is breaking the record here!
You are wrong Venus still holds the record. Venus Williams holds the record for the fastest serve struck by a woman in a main draw event. At the Zurich Open, she recorded 130 mph (210 km/h)
I think she could return it because the court was so small. No way could someone return such a fast serve going down the T at a grandslam...
This serve isn't recognized as a WTA record.
why hasn't it been ratified?
I'm sure it isn't a mistake. I've done actually comparison between Serena Williams (Australian Open) 207 km/h serve and this one. Lisicki's serve (the way from racquet/ball to the court/ball was 0,1 sec - Serena had 0,11 sec) - so it's surely the world record, but the rival did also fantastic job returning this serve into the court!
Actually she shares that record with Venus Williams who technically went better with a 209.2 km/h (130 mph) at the 2008 Zurich Open. But even though Serena is 3rd on the list for fastest serves (207.6 km/h - 129 mph), I'd still much rather have her serve than either Venus, McCarthy or Lisicki. Even Nadia Petrova has a "better" (more consistent, better placement) serve than Venus or Lisicki in my opinion, and usually ends up with more aces throughout the year, second only to Serena.
That was a machine malfunction and the result has since been corrected. Her fastest serve in that match was 173 km/h (average 155 km/h).
Kmph bit mph
It is single court dude. Double is similar to normal one.
Weired court... Doesn't look like a tenniscourt. Lol
well clearly not because this is recognised as the fastest at 210 (130 mph)
Wrong. Lisicki DOES hit big serves consistently. The only thing wrong with this serve is that it took place in the wrong tournament (the official WTA speed statistics is a sample based only on a very limited handful of designated tournaments - so if a player serves faster elsewhere, it won't count even if the speed machine is verified a thousand times to be perfectly functioning and error free.
the williams sisters have the first and second fastest serves. and their serves were 207 k/p not 210.
he is 5'9 now and he is 16.
there's no point comparing men with women in tennis
Are you comparing men's serves with women's serves???
130 mph . It,s fast but the big serving men serve around there for most first serves !
One without doubles tram lines !
Just because there's no tram lines doesn't make it unusual ! There was just no doubles tournement so no need for tram lines
Fap Fap Fap ! OUT . Fourty thirty !
You are probably correct. This is most likely the result of a "juiced up" radar gun. Lisicki is a great server as far as women go, but she hasn't been able to produce anything near this fast anywhere else. At least with Venus and Serena, you know they are consistent and have come close to breaking their own records at multiple tournaments. So the Lisciki "fastest serve" is something you have to take with a grain of salt until you see her pull this off consistently and in multiple locations.
WRONG. Three woman have been able to hit a 130+ mph serve in their career. Sabine Lisicki currently holds the world record for fastest serve hit by a woman in a main draw event. She hit a 130.5 serve in Bali 2009. Venus Williams HAS struck a 130 serve before (the previous record) at the Zurich Open in 2008, and Brenda Shultz-McCarthy also hit a 130 once (2006 Cincinnati), but it was only in a qualifying round so not official. Serena recorded the third fastest serve at 129 mph (Charleston 2008).
