Lol.....7800x3d is one of the best CPUs for gaming🤣, nothing wrong with my setup. This game is well known for its stuttering issues....why don't you watch digital foundry's video on dead space. You should probably delete your ignorant comment, I feel second hand embarrassment for you lol

github.com/MaxLastBreath/TOTK-mods/releases I got the windows zip version. You can change a few things with this mod. Like the resolution, frame rate, l better shadow resolution etc.

Yeah the game runs pretty well. Just a shame I suck at the actual game 🤣 I felt like I was being snipes every couple of seconds lol. Might give it another go eventually :) glad it runs well for you

​@PCgamingbenchmarktime tbh for some reason the default m4 in this game feels REALLY bad, like the worst default m4 of any fps I've played. The bullets just spray everywhere youre not aiming 😒 😆

Turning off ray tracing is the easy solution Lol ray tracing takes up a lot of vram with this game. I can keep ray tracing on if I turn track textures down to medium but honestly, it's not worth using ray tracing in this game so I just max it out with ray tracing turned off and it runs really good 😀

@@PCgamingbenchmarktime 👍 I don’t bother with RT. Imo it’s broken on PC for most titles. Only certain games get close.

could be different patch? there is more than one 60fps patch. i must have chose the right one lol. The one i have is called 60fps_paper_pchtxt . works Well on Yuzu also which i made a video on. never had any major issues on either one besides some lighting be a little odd. but there is a mod called lighting_fix_for_high_res_mods_wip_100_ . Maybe that could help with those black save boxes. not sure but i've ran the game with and without that mod and save boxes have always looked normal for me lol. I wonder if these people were using AMD Gpu's? sometimes amd gpu's aren't the best for emulators

i don't have any links but all of the specs are in the description :D i'd probably get a 4070 super instead of the 3080 though, it has 12gb Vram over the 10gb that the 3080 has and its slighly more powerful and more energy efficient. I'll be upgrading to the 5080 later in the year :D 3080 is still a good card but i'd like more vram for todays games

Oh! And also, would you rather Air cool it rather than use liquid cooling?

@sol4632 I've ran it stock and didn't really notice any difference to be honest. Might make a difference in some games that a memory sensitive but emulators don't really seem to care about ram timings etc. If it does make a difference it would extremely minor. I'd rather liquid cooling but I wouldn't say it's necessary for the 7800x3d, a decent air cooler should be fine. Liquid coolers look cooler though haha. The deepcool ls520 liquid cooler looks pretty good, I got it on sale so it was an easy choice and the reviews were good lol. I would have gone the ls720 which is 3 fans but my case can only fit 2 fans up top

yeah it runs really well, there is a mod that can be 60fps ans 30fps for cutscenes but i have no issues with cutscenes being 60fps besides a couple of graphical glitches. The game runs really well and looks awesome at 4K

I certainly can , I actually finished it last year on the yuzu emulator lol I'll get it again and make a video. Should be done in the next 24 hours :)

@@sol4632 i'm uploading the video now, it could take a while cause its pretty long...i got carried away because the game is so addictive haha. its a very stable 60fps at 4k with very small dips occasionally to loading in shaders but they're barely noticeable unless looking at the frame time graph. The Gpu is running slight undervolt to save power and keep it running about 5 degrees cooler than stock. CPU isn't over clocked but has cores at minus 20 using curve optimiser and the ram timings are tightened up a bit. AMD is about to announce the next gen of CPU's so i'd wait until they get anounced which is only 2-3 days away. the 7800X3D will probably go on sale not long after as the new cpu's should match it or even beat it. i'll be waiting for the X3D replacement which wont be out until sometime next year apparently :) good setup over all. with the gpu though the lack of vram at 4k can be an issue in newer games but if you're playing at 2k its a good card still

Definitely less stutter, especially out in the open its mostly a locked 60fps but when I get close to or in the first town area it will stutter. Not as bad as ryujinx though, I'll have to make a video showing the yuzu version in the same area :) hopefully the next gen AMD CPUs can brute force it and have less stuttering lol

This is with the CEMU emulator. it runs well on YUZU but only at 60fps. Tears of the kingdom though doesn't run all that smoothly. i have videos of that game also :)

@@bladeshadow5476 not from what i've seen. every current CPU will not run this game without any stuttering, maybe the next gen cpu's can manage it. I'll be upgrading to the 9800X3D whenever it releases so i'll have to compare them then :)

oh really ? its a tough game to run ! lol im hoping when i upgrade to the 9800X3D when it releases that it will be close to a locked 60fps !! or maybe by that time the switch 2 will be out and hopefully have a 60fps version of this game lol. i cant go back to 30fps haha

@bladeshadow5476 might be possible with dlss. More likely 1440p though, I'd be happy with that if it's a locked 60fps lol. Even better if ryujinx performs a miracle and they optimise the emulator further so it can run without stuttering. I've been holding off playing it until it's running better lol

im using the best last version of the Early access build of yuzu, not sure if thats making a difference or not. also using Vulkan, not really sure what else could be different. What are your settings in the graphic options?

I saw another comment on a video, that its AMD GPU problem. And that seems to be the case for everyone i have heard of. Having this bug.

Yuzu has been dead for months. So the last update was awhile ago lol if I wanted to play at crappy frame rates I'd just play it on the switch 🤣 I'm hoping zen 5 x3d chips will br able to brute force it into a smoother experience so I'll wait for that to release. By then I'll also have a 5080 so the extra vram could help a little bit too. I don't mind waiting, i can't play at 30fps it makes me feel sick. If the next switch console is powerful enough, it should be able manage it at 60fps and hopefully run at 4k using dlss performance equivalent upscaling. It's rumoured to have 4tf in docked mode...not the most accurate performance measurement but the it's almost 8 times the tf of the orginal switch. Sounds like crap to me but I'll happily wait to see so I don't have to play at 30fps. I played breath of the wild at a locked 60fps with cemu and the experience was sooooo much better, there's no going back to 30fps lol

2160P . The Gpu isnt the issue so resolution is irrelevant. it does the same thing at 1080p also :)

makes zero difference besides making shader compilation even worse lol
