First ride on my new 2022 Triumph Speed Twin. The bike is still being ran in so revs have to stay under 4000rpm until 300 miles Bike is completely stock. Raw, unedited exhaust noise.

speed twin is the ducks guts mate. Cheers from Australia. Currently in negotiations to buy a 2023 model with discount. Just sold the FXDC and still got a yamaha sr500 that needs work to get going but dam these older bikes I want satisfaction that I can look forward to not just an endless money pit breaking down.
Hi mate, my first bike was scrambler 900, 3 years later, I still own it. Great bike and I enjoy the ride a lot. Now I am thinking of swapping to speed twin 1200.
So far the Zard is the best sounding on the Speed Twin.

Yes you can see fine. It only takes 2 mins to swap them around from the standard position.
Nice vid, sounds good for stock. If you time your blips on the downshift earlier it will get rid of that clunking 4' 40, engine needs a bit more time to spin up, learned that on my Thruxton .
It's fine now. This was the second time the bike had been ridden since new, the gearbox was much smoother after around 500 miles.
Perfect video. No bullshit. Beautiful scenery. The golden hour. One of the best bikes in the world. You’re doing it right.

I also have a Tenere 700 (same engine as MT07) and they sound very different. Both nice in their own respects.

Yes quite a bit louder. I can imagine with the baffles and stock cat removed it would be a bit too much.

What made you pick zard over sc project
I think they look much nicer. Not a fan of how you can see where the SC Project silencers attach to the stock headers/link pipes.

It is ZARD slip-on. The bike still has standard primary catalyst (under engine). No re-map/calibration.

Are the N.2 cans much lauder than the stock or is it mainly a case of better sound?
A fair amount louder. With the baffles in they are about the same as stock.

What a deep exhaust note and an old-school howl from the transmission. A very lively bike.
Allot of popping and banging going on there, has the new exhaust caused a leaner burn,? I thought the later water cooled bonneville ECU compensated for that.
The bike pops loads as stock, although these new silencers have made it more audible. The 2022+ bikes have secondary air injection into the exhaust which causes it. It makes the catalysts more efficient from a cold start. I did look at having a new map put on the bike to reduce it, but it would void the warranty so I'll just leave it for now.
Can anyone tell me what kind of gloves those are?
These are Knox 'Nexos' gloves. I think they are now discontinued, although they now make a similar style glove called the 'Oulton'. Hope that helps.

Yes primary cat still in (under the engine), baffles out. The build quality of the Zard's are second to none, definitely the best quality exhausts I've fitted to a bike.

Yes original cat. No x-pipe fitted, only silencers have been changed.
Exhaust sound is cool I'd like to know the mirror information installed on the handlebar
It is just a mirror for a pushbike, made by a company called Zefal.

They are 'Racer Verano'
Love it. I've got a 2020. Did the front brake pads, piggy back rear shocks, high performance air filter, and reverse cone mufflers with the cat in. Couldn't be bothered removing it. Still sounds great. Just need to sort out the front end suspension as I find the cornering to be too unsure still.
Learn how to ride it, will save you heaps of money...
