lol went there a couple months ago, be careful being inside the buildings, and stay away from old rail lines are these are the most likely places youll find unexploded ordnance. wanting to do that myself, would be the ultimate sketchfest. perhaps if you could find a way to the top of the spoil heap?

@@ivebeaneverywhere I save up for a long time to buy expensive kit.. I will sell one of my other tents to help pay for the new one.. iam on a really tight budget, I couldn't afford a jetboil for example... when I started buying my own kit, I could only afford eurohike stuff.. terrible sleeping bags ( stuffed with a duvet from home) cooking on campfires with a pot I pulled out of a bin... it was lucky I was young n healthy and able to carry the weight.... I have never had the pleasure of owning a vango though came close to buying the banshee.... Take care out there.

@@ivebeaneverywhere must not forget about charity shops... I try to do a day of charity shops, once a week.. I have got loads of expensive kit for next to nothing , from charity shops... think of it , old grandad dies but has shelfs of camping kit worth thousands of pounds!, but no-one in the family is a camper , so it's all just tatt to them....... off to the charity shop it goes...Take care out there.
