Yes same here in India, it is easy to get low level jobs like Customer Support but salary is too low and I wanted to go for Data Science. So yea, I am studying and will go for data analyst only. Wish me a luck. In btw, subscribed to your channel so you can earn❤

Me in 2 years, doing a masters in Data Science Rn too graduating in a year... Cant find anything
it takes time, wishing u luck!
Data scientists... What the heck are you even doing that's useful to anybody? Why am I bitching about this? Because in my last job, I SHOULD have been a data scientist but I wasn't. I have no idea what data scientists are doing, I don't know what value they add to the world - and I REALLY don't see that (added) value anywhere. So much for the harsh truth. Whatever you learned to do with Python... Use it for something that's actually useful. Just saying. All that being said: I'm currently in a POS situation simply because I failed AT THE ONE AND ONLY JOB THROUGHOUT MY CAREER OF 35 YEARS that would have needed a data scientist background. And truth be told: I don't give a F/S. This is NOT me. I'm from a generation who CREATED (natural language) parsers and compilers. We created the web you are forced to be a "full stack developer" in. By now I hope you are seeing where this is going? At my age, management/C-level positions are the only places where -- I -- can go. And that means: The disgruntled, moody bastard you read here will be the person who will decide whether YOU will get that job you've applied for or not. I've had such positions before. I'm currently negotiating AGAIN about one of those positions. How does that make YOU feel? I give you one piece of advice for free: NEVER LISTEN TO ADVICE ON LINKEDIN. Full Stop. Show me that you are a REAL person with VALUES AND IDEAS. Write a REAL resume. One that I would WANT to read. One that shows that YOU are a REAL person. Then I (someone from Gen X) will ALWAYS WANT to talk with you.
2005 Haruki Murakami black LV Speedy 30, near mint, from a pawn shop in the bay authenticated (but girl, I knew it from the pictures). I snagged it for $1000 while all the others were gone!!! I hope it’s not haunted!! Haha!! Love your channel!! …Um, I bought a Dooney Florentine Nano Satchel and a medium Amelia Florentine from *luxrul* …but wait, Kurt Geiger Kensington, Chanel 19 denim…and a Hermes Officier Birkin 30, gold togo with double, yellow swift stripe/left front and yellow interior/palladium. Look at this, so chic!!!
I've noticed a few pixel hitches and glitches in your last couple of videos. I'd check the render setting in your editing software to make sure nothings too goofed 😊
You don't deserve a job with that nose ring. It says everything about you and your beliefs (which are wrong). You probably voted for this. Grow up.
No amount of degrees can guarantee a job you want.
You have been conned. Reset. Get a useful qualification.
Aawww, so sad. I thought fighting affirmative action was supposed to solve this issue for you model minorities 😢😮🤷🏿♂️👀
struggling with a quant phd. it's rough rn
Unemployed math major with 1st class honors. Turns out I cant lie on interviews, LOL. A lot of my (former) friends put 1/2 the work or less than me, believe in conspiracy theories (i.e are dumb phucks) and have white collar jobs.
I graduated with a bachelors in mechanical engineering last december and am in the same situation as you. I took 5.5 years to graduate making me 24(m). I sacrificed almost all of the experiences a regular 20 year old should have (going out and making friends, dating, a large portion of my hobbies). My light at the end of the tunnel was that I would simply name price and location and I would have a great time. However that is only the reality for perhaps the top 10-20 percent, while average students without connections might be out 6+ months to never getting their break. All this to say its good to see that I am not alone in my struggles. I wish you the best
Seems like so many over educated ppl with no jobs for them, not just NA but around the whole world.
If only you had a degree of nepotism
You know I was going to say you can always work the corner but I feel like you wouldn't take that as a joke some people are too serious on the internet
P.S: Regarding your position, this has happened to many graduates. IT happened during the financial disaster in 2008. Also you need to apply at places other than Amazon or Microsoft or Google. Every hospital, bank, and stock broker house hires programmers. And they don't lay them off just because 'silicon valley' is laying off programmers. The city and state government hires programmers. Normally less pay but better benefits. Lastly, you are unlikely to work at one place the rest of your live. It will likely be 2-6 years, then you will move on. This means you are saving and maximizing your 401k. Every time you move you get a pay increase. So over the long term it is a way to make more money but I think you need to stay 6 to 10 years to be eligible for a pension. I think feel people who have 20+ years to work will be eligible for a sizable pension.
Programmers will always be needed. One year ago I received an offer after to weeks of job searching. For some programming jobs a steady form of training (e.g., a couple of Udemy courses) along with programming certification (Salesforce, Java) should get you a job interview. Since there are less Salesforce developers that is what I would chose. I think the Salesforce trailhead material is a better option as it is all you need to become a competent Salesforce developer. You even get your own development environment to program against. But it is not a quick fix. It will take you 2 months of studying and programming 6 hours a day. Once you successfully complete this work you could consider yourself an entry level Salesforce developer. For the cert exam, I would get the exam requirements from the Salesforce certification trailhead and make sure I understand the material that is outlined, re-reading it if necessary. The make an appointment to take the certification exam.

It wasn't just 2020. You simply happened to fall into that time period. Most degrees are worthless, anyway, before and after 2020. None of them lead to a job. We were just "told" that they would. And that's why we went to college. College is a scam. They take our tuition money and shove us out the door, while in the mean time, few of us actually find a job. Even degrees that give us a skill don't necessarily lead to a job. But at least in that case, we would (seemingly) be able to function better in life (in general), due to the skill. What gets me is that, even after all of that, most people (including employers) STILL say that WE'RE lazy, that WE won't go get a job. That's the part that gets me. We need to be taught how to start a business, how to run a business, how to do taxes. That way, it would be less likely that we would be in this situation. Unless the person (like me) REALLY has that much bad luck, and then that wouldn't matter, either.
I went back to study IT in mid 30s, graduated, lockdowns started all staff quit and ghosted graduates looking for work (literally, they were referring me then suddenly stopped answering before I found out they were gone). Now I am four years unemployed with only some volunteer work and vaguely IT related online tasks. I am 40, unemployable, no recent references and sent away from non IT jobs for being overqualified. Pretty sure it's just downhill from here. No one has any advice besides "I don't know what you can do"
Cool seat. Stand up bicycling for back pain. Long term goal, moving to Traverse City, Michigan and starting your own business.
Work is the invention of the devil. Jobless people are saints.
So you joined the rapidly growing club of useless degrees. How empowering.
You are beautiful btw :)
USA is in deep doodoo. Relying on financializing economy for decades to the point of stagflation. There's no real economy for many years or decades.
The coal mines in China are hiring.
I do not like your nose ring
My son also can not find a job. He just graduated Computer science from UC Irvine
Back in the 1970s during the oil crisis the joke was that Texas coffee shops only hired petroleum engineer PhD's. These things are cyclical. Don't lose hope. You will end up on your feet.
what was your major again?
The medical field is looking for data scientists
Pretty sweet setup. I also got rid of my gaming chair. Used it during my 20 hour COD sesh on the PS4 and my back was killing. Got a proper spine fixated chair similar to yours. Try the Razer Gigantus V2 mouse soft cloth mat. You won't get those creases and gaps. It will stick flat on your table.
@@VIPAH thanks for the recc ill look into it!
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'm applying for my MFA in Cinematography at AFI fall 2025. Got a B.A in Film Production. Been a few years since then, but man I'm worried if it's all going to be worth it. $60K a year tuition fees, A.I technology on the rise. Not sure what the future holds.
Soo unfortunate with this gen Z need to criticize 9-5 jobs as though they’re the worst thing. Nothing wrong with a 9-5. Tons of great jobs like that where you can make a good living, work hard and enjoy life. You guys need to get over this need to shit on that and push yourselves further away from it. Making RUclips videos may become a way to make a living, but it won’t contribute a single thing to society.
I have 5 degrees. They are useless.. I refuse to work anywhere with DEI training.
Poor tomogochi 😢, she probably forgot to feed it 😅
Dang that excel sheet is amazing. Are you ever going to share it
