Exploring Juneau, the capital of Alaska
Icredible place!!
Would love at least a little bit talking, but don't overdo it.
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this amazing experience! In which month was the video taken? I definitely want to go around that time
Hi!, thank you for your feedback. I went around middle of July last year.
Which season is the best for Juneau?
Definitely July! You still have some snow in the mountains and more clear skies
Come up here in midwinter with your nice camera and see how it turns out for you
Absolutely gorgeous.
Such a beautiful place to live .
I know its a tourist town but my husband and I had a lot of fun there
Beautiful just a shame its in Marseille...
What camera are you using?
I’m using gopro hero 5 black
All the songs in the Back in Black album were made by him (Bon Scott), but "they" removed his name after his death just a few weeks before the album's launch.
Legend!!! The Real AC DC Singer! The other one is a copy cat
no man dont be toxic. can we just appreciate both without criticizing the other? the world will be better if you think that way
@@luuji5253 Sure! I wish that "they" had that in mind years ago!
Bon Scott LEGEND
Don't count on a sunny day when you visit Juneau. It's like a rain forest. But the nature trails are beautiful. Just bring an umbrella or hooded raincoat. The town is right next to a huge snow covered mountain in winter. Seems it is just a matter of time before an avalanche rolls over the town.
Wonderful video! Keep it up!!!
Thank you! Will do!
Great love these type of videos..no endless talking. Excited will be here in May.
Me too I will be in May, So excited
RIP Bon. We love you. ❤️❤️❤️
Joe's fish shack has gone to hell
Looks like an interesting place, however the 'no talking, no descriptions' m.o. is really not helpful. We really don't know what we're seeing/looking at. Adding some descriptive conversation goes a long way, and is very helpful.
Precioso!!
Hermosa edificación
Can't wait to travel there soon!!!!!
when was this filmed? Certainly no cruise ships there now.
Between August and September. The alaskan season starts normally in May
There was a ship
Another nice video of my favorite place. I appreciated “out of beaten path” sights.
Thanks for the feedback. Cope park was stunning!
@@mapofthenomad In all my visits I never got there, but I loved biannual native Celebration, museums, glaciers, flying over ice field, and so much more. I visited 15 times, starting with cruise, then solo on my own. My favorite is Hoonah. Did you have a chance to watch carvers in town? They love to share their stories and art. I still like your approach. With many bad videos yours is the top. Recommendation: Fleming yachts. Intelligent narration, superb filmography.
It’s breaking my heart to see you visit the most beautiful port in Alaska in this horrible weather. You’ll have to come back. BTW - very well done, with highlighting the important and interesting and with authentic sounds without annoying music or comments.
Thank you for your comments and i agree completely, beautiful port. I hope i come back soon!
Another revelation. No idea Juneau was so big and urban, yet still has some of its historical remnants. The cruise ships seem out of place, but they probably drive a lot of cash into the town. Thanks for posting...👍👍
I had no idea Ketchikan is so big. Definitely a tourist town with a lot of interesting sights. Will have to give it a visit. Thanks for posting...👍👍
Juneau and Ketchikan are very big cities. In fact in this occasion I only visited a small part of the city. You have a lot of things to do 😉
What month was this cruise. I'll be there mid June 2024. I plan to take the Red Gondola, to the top of the mountain, and try to hike some trails, and not get into any fights with bears. I plan to be prepared for rain. Light rain, heavy rain. I'll be ready.
Nice video! Thank you for sharing!
buena ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Una de las cosas buenas de chile
Comparto 👍
Nice video, well done! And on a very nice sunny day for Juneau, one of our favorite places on earth. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Very nice to read your feedback. Love that city too!
Que bello. Es muy parecido su paisaje a California y Sur de Francia.
Thanks for the feedback. In fact, first time i went there was in 2011 and until now has changed a lot. Didn’t go to Mendenhall Glacier.
Crazy! I lived in Juneau 1980~1989 when I graduated HS. Most of the area near the cruise ships and the tram are 100% new to me. This is such a nice 'walk through downtown' video: thanks to whoever made it. Maybe this person took a tour bus out the Mendenhall Glacier, too & has a video?
Thats cool! Specially for an AirPort
Omg! Thats high!! 🫣
Are they edible?
Reading about that, it seems they are protected. A man was charged when he tried to cook it.
@@mapofthenomad sad, they never should have called them chickens. It's misleading. 😆🍺

La naturaleza es única.
Completamente de acuerdo 👍
Wow…😮
hermoso
So beautiful!!
Yes it was! 👍
We had seas like that, and worse, on a Caribbean cruise. We actually missed our first port of call because it was too dangerous to put in to port. When we finally did reach a port after days at sea, half the passengers left the ship and flew home.
Never heard of something like that, passenger leaving the cruise before it finishes. Must have been very rocky
Beautiful until it isn’t.
I love him so much 🥹🥹🥹
I heard of this place from Grama Deskins several decades ago.
