This was one of the very, VERY first Genshin tracks I ever heard that made me cry (and still does)... and also one of the very first I thought "hey that would be so fun to arrange for multiple cellos". I even started writing the arrangement all the way back in summer 2023, but then I figured that it would be best to actually get it done for one of the Lantern Rite patches! So here we are~ I really love this track... I love how the theme itself gets repeated throughout different instruments and takes on different emotions - hope, triumph, pure joy, exuberance... it's a gorgeous piece of both melodical writing an...

Ever since I first properly got into Genshin over two years ago, Collei was an instant favourite of mine. When her trailer released last year, omg... I was SO happy that HoyoMix had composed such an incredible bop for her. I love writing arrangements for multiple cello voices because it allows me to delve into the music I love, and this one was a special pleasure! I really hope you like it! 💚 🌿...
My favorite Lantern Rite has to be the first one. Seeing Xiao's little smile at the end changed the trajectory of my life (at least in Genshin lol). Even now, hearing the strings swell in Liyue Harbor always gets me in the emotions. This cover did too. It was beautiful! Thank you!
