This album's biggest strength are the vocals. They are so layered, so well done. The bgvs and harmonies are beautiful, or just have a haunting quality and are so all over the place (in a very positive way). The amount of reverb they have put on them just makes them feel like you've entered heaven. Thank you for this! 😊

Recording and mixing is crazy. It helps to have back up vocal tracks that have more treble(or scooped mids and/or lows in the mix) and effects(minimal distortion or analogue saturation) to help give the main vocals an underlining boost to help them punch trough all the other music tracks and give clarity to the vocals. A similar thing for your drums is to boost the snare and cymbals of your sub mix(drum bus) by about 2-3 decibels at 5k on the EQ. When you got 50 or more tracks of instruments going you need a lot of vocal tracks going simultaneously of your vocals are gonna sound weak and muted.
