Просмотров 27 тыс.3 года назад
This video is the full process of chopping small grain and corn silage with a John Deere 4440 and a John Deere 34 silage chopper also used an international 1066 and Kubota m900
It’s sad about the crops. My first planted corn got cooked. Still hopeful for the later planted stuff.
@@RouthFarms lucky we planted late but I think we’re a little dryer here then what I saw down yalls way we’re going to end up chopping a lot of corn that was supposed to be picked
Congrats on 500!
@@RouthFarms thanks so much
Rusty Miller packed a PUNCH on his V8 tractor!
What year is this combine? And are parts readily available?
@@je862 if I remember correctly it is a 1984 and yes parts a very available for this machine at least in North Carolina they are
@@LoftinFarms Thanks for your reply. The reason I'm asking is I've been in manufacturing for many years and am starting my own business and was trying to get a good idea about parts availability for farm related, semi truck, end loaders, etc.
@@je862 are you making aftermarket parts
@@LoftinFarms Yes, my plan is to provide parts for anything farm related and semi truck, etc. Right now I'm in the process of a business plan and my goal is to be contacting investors within the next couple months. Then from there it could take a while to actually be manufacturing parts. I know how expensive new and newer equipment is and I want to provide parts for the older equipment for the folks that cannot afford new or newer.
@@je862 ok that’s neat
What part of North Carolina are you located?
Middle NC statesville
Near statesville
@@LoftinFarms Oh okay, I'm not far from Winston Salem.
@@getsomebumpa no not to far it’s about an hour from us
Glad to see you keep farming on a budget. Most folks just give up and sell out. Keep fighting on against the BTOs!
Gotta keep the small farms alive
In my area, this month I stopped planted corn and only planted rice once
We don’t plant any in this area
Farmer at modern country, farmer rich this area farmer so poor
Farming is not rich lol
Your country still good
Nice combine we have two 4400 they work well
Just got the head back for it should get it put on here pretty soon
Just a thought put oil on thouse gears before each use might save some wear. Enjoyed your video have a great day.
We always grease them before we use it it was wore out then we got it. Thanks for watching
Nothing wrong with that!
A good deal is a good deal
Nice combine broo...
Thanks
Nice buy looks great.
Thanks
That machine, with a bit of care and attention will be running for another few decades - by which point Harvester will be $2million a piece for a basic model!
True there already at $1 million
Why don't you have a 2 row head on the chopper ? You've got plenty of tractor and could probably find one fairly cheap.
The 2 row head for that chopper is wide the one row is for narrow rows we hav a 2 row for it but we plant narrow rows and I can go twice as fast with the 1 row
Good to see videos again. Do you have a favorite piece of equipment to run?
construction equipment would be the excavator but tractor would be the IH 1066
Always good to have a clean cab.
Looks like someone is getting pd for what they love doing. Great Job Tyler
I wish and Thank you
Great Video, theres nothing like silage being harvested! Thanks for sharing

Lovely seeing a 3765 with grass and corn head my dream one day

If wanted to listen to music I would Go to a music channel
Then turn your volume off and watch it the video had no sound before the music
Yup, crappy when can't hear the machinery working, a little drone footage is fine but nothing but drone sucks,
what model gehl wagons are those
I don’t remember the number on it
Any issues with the tractor PTO/Clutch
Y'all got dairy or beef farm as well ?
Just beef
Awesome footage! Statesville here
Nice we’re about 30 minutes out of statesville
Where in NC?

That’s not real country. Sounds like a mix between pop and country. Weird
Brings back memories. Good looking tractor
We have a 9540 but nice 9000
I just got one and it’s very sensitive when I hit a bump what can I do?
I really like your assortment of equipment. New to the channel. Look forward to checking out more

D and C Lawn&Landscaping Thanks and yes I have plans sorry for no videos lately but there coming soon
I have been watching your channel waiting for a new video
Sorry I’ve just been taking a break lately and nothing has been going on on the farm lately either
I can understand that. Also your hay videos inspired me to start making hay.
D and C Lawn&Landscaping you should video it
Love the videos
Thanks
You need to get rid of that thing asap, those things are junk, I bought one once and 5 acres in it broke, fixed it then another piece broke a acre later, luckily sold it and got my money back
that has ben a good teder for us because our big one don't pull down the road very good
Farming Life as long as it suits your operation, I just like to give my opinion, not hating, but I would advise if something goes wrong get rid of it before something else goes
Hi
We cut and crimped our hay until the end of the70's really it dryed better and faster than the haybine..we had a Cunningham hay crimper. It broke the stalks every inch with inter meshing rollers that didn't touch, therefore did not crush the hay like some machines did. Great vids.
kim culver ours crimps every inch to and it has metal rollers and thanks
Hey Tyler!!!!!
Thanks
I'm Scared to wash u see the hood bro, is there anything u do differently???? I'd love to keep it my engine cleaned up
The way I wash my show tractor is just like you wash a car, by hand with a rag which is what I would do if I were you but all of our work tractors just get pressure washed
