Per the 1611 KJV, "morning star" is not exclusive to one being. Job 38:7: "When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" Sir 50:6: "He was as the morning star in the midst of a cloud, and as the moon at the full:" Rev 2:28: "And I will give him the morning star." Rev 22:16: "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."
Yeah, correct. Morning star is not identical to satan, sons of God (many angels) also called as morning stars. KJV was translated from Latin version, and "Lucifer" is a Latin word that means = "east star". This means the satan was one of those morning stars. I thought all pastors have this knowledge, but I see so many pastor didn't know what they are talking about. Pretty sad. People shouldn't use KJV anymore. To many mistake on translations since the KJV was translated from Latin, not translated from the original version (Hebrew for OT, and Greek for NT).
@@Blindfolded.911Yes. The KJV is actually a revision of the 1602 Bishops' Bible and it borrowed from all 16th century English Bibles, especially from Tyndale and even the 1582 Catholic Rheims NT. The translators did consult original language texts, but they also consulted foreign language sources including at least seven Latin translations; which included the Latin Vulgata and Old Latin. New Bible readers should avoid the KJV.
@@InfinitelyManic my country (both Catholic and Protestant) never used KJV translation since late 70s. We used new version which translated from the original version of Hebrew and Septuagint. Even the Septuagint itself will keep updating if there is another missing page/paragraph/verse of "authentic sea scroll" found. Idk why those people keep using KJV. The translations inaccurate and the gospel not updated (many missing verses).
@@Blindfolded.911 Which country?
The 1611 KJV provides a marginal note, "O day star"; which is an alternative rendering for "Lucifer". The KJV uses "day star" at 2 Pet 1:19.
I'm sorry but I have to correct you on this matter. Because no ENGLISH translation AND version of the Scripture gives spells out the name Lucifer word-for-word on the last book of The NEW Testament, namely, Revelations whether it maybe the king James, NIV, GN, RSV, etc. One can spend his whole life in vain looking for a word that's NOT written, only to find none, because the LATIN for Bright and Morning Star in Revelations (regardless of HOW it was written in ANY Bible version translated IN ENGLISH) is DIFFERENT from what we find on Isaiah 14:12. But BEFORE we make a COMPARISON between those two LATIN words, we should rid ourselves of ignorance, (because GOD's people are destroyed for LACK of knowledge, and NOT an Abundance of it) by finding the ROOT and ORIGIN of the Word Lucifer. The descriptive name Lucifer is derived from the LATIN and NOT the English word, Lucifer meaning shining one, son of the Morning Isaiae 14:12 in LATIN reads Quomodo cecidisti de cælo, LUCIFER, qui mane oriebaris ? corruisti in terram, qui vulnerabas gentes ? Now we ASK, is this the SAME Latin word used on Apocalypsis OR Revelations 22:16 in LATIN, where Yeshua says "I Am The Root and Offspring of David, The Bright and Morning Star? The FACT, regardless of its version in English, tells us that it's NOT: Ego Jesus misi angelum meum testificari vobis hæc in ecclesiis. Ego sum radix, et genus David, STELLA SPLENDIDA ET MATUTINA. Literally: The Splendid Star of The Morning So therefore by SCRIPTURAL EVIDENCE, its WRONG to ASSUME that just because a certain Bible version such as the NIV, on Revelation 22:16 sounds similar to the word found on Isaiah 14:12 THAT it's one and the same thing. To find out the WHOLE TRUTH we need to trace back its ROOTS and COMPARE the DIFFERENCE. Regardless of HOW the English translation reads, The Lucifer of Isaiah 14 is NOT The Stella of Revelation 22:16. That's the TRUTH and The TRUTH will set you FREE
Last I checked, God did not preserve (Psalm 12:6-7) his words in Latin. It is a dead language. You can run to the Greek Hebrew or Aramaic, or...Latin (why the Latin?) But the fact of the matter is, God has preserved his words in English for us today. He did not stop preserving or inspiring his words with the Latin. His preservation is evident before us all today, in this age. In the English language. The translators of the new bibles in English have changed a name in Isaiah 14:12 and given it a title that is given to The Lord Jesus Christ in Revelation 22:16. Satan has attacked Gods words at every turn, counterfeited everything good that God does or has. This is a prime example, he has taken a title that is not his. And there is no such book in the Bible called Revelations. It’s Revelation (or more accurately The Revelation of St. John the Divine).
@@biblebaptistchurchofsebast7448 My Goodness you didn't get the point, IF GOD as you say didn't preserve His words in LATIN, then WHY THE HECK DID YOU USE A LATIN WORD/Name (Lucifer) to prove your point on the NIV calling Jesus Lucifer (again LATIN) in Revelations? Are YOU using a DEAD language too, or just CHERRY picking from a dead language to prove YOUR point on a certain subject? Regardless, if you mention ANY word from a "dead language," you're somehow REVIVING it sir. IF you however, think that LATIN (that is ALL Latin words, phrases and articles) is a DEAD language, then you might as well do yourself a favor by NOT mentioning a name in LATIN, Ie., Lucifer. In Hebrew his name is Heylel. BUT despite that knowledge, you still did, so. And FYI, GOD did preserved HIS WORD in VARIOUS languages today NOT just the ENGLISH (are you a white supremacist?) BUT ALSO IN LATIN, HEBREW, SPANISH, JAPANESE, KOREAN and ALL OTHER LANGUAGES of the world to make the GOOD NEWS accessible to ALL creation. WHAT do you think is the REASON why The TRUE GOD gave the early disciples on ACTS at Pentecost the ability to speak in VARIOUS languages (although Latin JUST as English) is not mentioned on the list, IF HIS purpose was that The Good News is only to be delivered to various nations in ONE language/dialect? Besides, haven't you heard of Bible TRANSLATIONS? GOD is NO Racist mister, and the KJV in ENGLISH wasn't the ORIGINAL language Yeshua spoke. HalleluYAH, AMEN, Hosanna, the common expression WE Christians use, are they originally English OR Hebrew? BUT were they preserved today OR no? Sure they are OTHERWISE we wouldn't be uttering, using, writing them. Same thing with Latin---and mind you, "Latin is a dead language" is NOT found in Scripture, INCLUDING the kjv English TRANSLATION. That means the SCRIPTURE itself DOESN'T support your UNBIBLICAL Belief that "Latin is a dead language." The MERE fact that it still EXISTS in PRINTING today and available for ANYONE to read means it's NOT dead. In FACT not even Pilate think it's dead enough for him to inscribe the title above Yeshua's Head in 3 MAJOR LANGUAGES at the time. Even your kjv PROVES it so on--- Luke 23:38 (KJV) And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and LATIN, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. AND John 19:20 (KJV) This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and LATIN. IF you think it's dead, WHY not try and OMIT the word LATIN in your Bible IF you dare risk suffer GOD's punishment for TAMPERING with HIS word and I think you already know the verse on Revelations, I'm sorry RevelatioN of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:1) NOT of "saint John the Divine." Guess what, once again someone by GOD's Help, proved you wrong. GLORY to YAH PS Thank you for your correction on Revelations. You're right, there's no such book in the Bible called Revelations but Revelation, as there is ALSO no passage EVEN in the kjv of The Bible that says GOD only inspired the king James version of the Bible. 😊
@@raimiranda126 by dead I mean that it is not spoken anymore. Not that it does not exist or that we don’t get root words from it. And I just love how you jumped from me reading it in ENGLISH and believing that it has been preserved in English makes me a white supremacist and a racist. And I did not mean that God didn’t use the Latin language. He absolutely did, but he didn’t stop there. He went to German and English. He has his preserved words in many different languages. In English it is the King James because of the gross errors in all the other versions like the one this video points out. Of course English was not the original language. No one speaks the original Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek either. Just like Latin. That was my point. But hey, you keep your Latin and I will continue with the perfect, inspired, preserved WORDS of God in English.
@@biblebaptistchurchofsebast7448 yes yes, I mean no disrespect. But speak for yourself, what you say although based in history is NOT Scriptural. So you're telling Me to believe YOUR words more than Scripture? Sorry, I can't Have a good one and I pray for your enlightenment
@@biblebaptistchurchofsebast7448 PS Btw what you said is NOT entirely accurate or factual. I just did a FACT check on Google and found out that---(and this quote is a COPY-PASTE) "Latin is spoken by 1 billion people worldwide. Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Portugal, France, Italy, and Romania are just a few examples of countries where Latin is spoken." IF you doubt the VALIDITY of My words then why not TYPE them and post them on Google Engine to find out yourself? Pls Stop spreading HALF-truths to the public, BUT in fairness, since Our Lord didn't just criticized BUT shown appreciation to His Churches (or Called-Out Congregations), I applaud you on your excellent expositions on Christ-mas. As Messianic, we share the SAME belief
Thanks, Pastor Neil, for the teaching. Look forward to worship service this Sunday and the book of Romans teaching verse by verse. I have a hard time keeping up with the highlighting of important verses on Wednesday evening.
Great message, Pastor Neil. The Spirit is alive and well within you. Your words are true and kept bringing to mind the role of the two messengers in the tribulation. We won't be here and their ministry is to the Jews. But for us today, we must strive to keep our fellow believers on the right path to sanctification. God bless you, Jim
Thank you, Pastor Neil, for your teaching. As to your last comment, should we infer that not only is the AV 1611 inspired but it is the one and only inspired translation in English?
James Stewart I would not necessarily disagree with that. The problem I have is I can’t speak those other languages so I would have a hard time distinguishing that without looking to someone who does know the language in question.

Thank you, pastor. We are all so blessed to have had the Spirit guide us to a KJV church.
So, what is the translation of the Word and the verse where Jesus is called Satan? Great lesson, pastor, especially your last point about the indifference "neither cold or hot" among Christian churches in our culture in order to "fill our pews with tithing congregants" we avoid exposing our sins.
Praise the Lord that you, Pastor Neil, walked through that "great door" that was "opened unto [you]" to be the pastor of CBCS.
Thank you, pastor, for the verse by verse. Regarding an offering and since the basket is not being passed because of stay-at-home, what is the best way to make an offering to CBCS? Also, praying for your mother-in-law. Jim
Thank you pastor for commemorating the Lord's Supper, for the singing by your blessed daughters, and for the references to Luke, Philippians, Romans, I Corinthians, and John - verses rarely if ever used in the preaching I've heard. You are blessed of the Spirit and we are blessed to have you. Jim Stewart
