We are proud parents of a wonderful boy who has autism. Bryce's life did not start out with autism; however, it did start with an unexplained grade four brain hemorrhage (stroke) on the day after he was born. He miraculously developed MUCH better than the grim projections we were given at the time of his stroke. He was hitting milestones on time and had a large vocabulary of single words. He also identified letters and spelled words before he turned two! We weaned him off seizure medication and thought we were crossing the finish line as we celebrated his second birthday. Soon after, it became apparent to Sandy that something was different with delayed language and certain unfamiliar behaviors. Our autism journey began when he was diagnosed in April 2016 at age two and a half. Since then, we have been learning every step of the way.

What a sweet baby! Just a heads up, though, you shouldn't feed them on their back, even though it is really adorable. He/she looks like they're about ready for kitten food, if not already. (I used to work at an orphan kitten rescue)

looks to be 6/7 weeks old, maybe a bit older.Its fairly easy to tell the sex. Boys will already have visible fluff balls and have a bigger gab between exits. For girls its a really small gap in between and no fluffy balls. Just from the face I would guess boy but I have misjudged my own cat with that method last year (girl named Felix) 😅
Awesome tips! AND correct guess! This one is a boy. The other one in our other video is a girl. The video makes them look bigger. We were told that they were between 2-3 weeks when we recorded this last week. 😊

I took in 5 "feral" kittens that where about 5 weeks old, mom had died. It was one of my best decisions ever. When I earned their trust, and all 5 would come running to the door when I came home. All 5 fighting to be in your lap all the time. I found good homes for 4 of them kept one I couldn'tgive away. But sadly my really special guy is terminally ill. He just turned 8 & really shouldn't be this sick. I will soon lose him, there is no treatment, no cure, only managing symptoms. It's one of the most painful things I ever experienced. I have had cats my whole life, but no one like him...

@@ParentingAutismShow his name is Silver, he is mostly white except 2 grey spots around his ears and his tail that is grey but the end/tip is white. So it looks like he has dipped his tail in paint..

Thank you for your concern! 😻 This is the first time we’ve rescued feral kitties. 🫣 The kitten was approximately two weeks old in this video and looks much bigger in the video than in real life. Both kittens are thriving and will begin eating food this week. Yay!! 😊🎉🙌
@@ParentingAutismShow I’m not going by just the size of the kitten. I’m going by eye color and ears. This kittens eyes no long appear blue,typically eye color doesn’t change until 6-7 weeks. I have foster orphan neonatal kittens for years. This kittens appears older than 2-3 weeks old. If a vet told you that, then they should have allow informed you on how to properly bottle feed a kitten.

My mom’s neighbor found both kittens in a ditch while working and brought them home to my mom to take care of them. Their mother didn’t come back for them. Maybe something happened to her. 😞 My mom is loving on them now! ❤️
