    Nice ride.. like the JBL speaker hack. How’d u mount?

    • @JohnCoconis
      @JohnCoconis 28 дней назад

      @@PerfDayTodayThanks! It's not a hack. JBL makes a bicycle specific mount for the speaker. I just took the rubber for the computer mount and put it around the speaker mount. The ball wasn't effective so now I attach it directly to the speaker mount. I've rode a few single track trails and it held up.

      In this case I bought the Restrap shoulder straps which I set to balance the bike. There is the harness that attaches to the top tube and 2 other straps attached to the non drive side chainstay and the bottom tube. It takes a minute to set up and less than a minute to put away.

      This is the North Slope Road. It's a series of roads that I connected on the north slope of the Uintas. I've done it in both directions more than once and solo both directions. My record is 2 days from SLC. However I don't suggest it. It's reasonably speaking anywhere from 3 days to a week, going through Utah's highest valley.

    • @JohnCoconis
      @JohnCoconis 2 года назад

      It was right before the new year. There was more water than I anticipated. Right before Mengel Pass there is a spring and I was able to collect water and drink it without filtering. Its right below the painters cabin. However it is really hard to find in the dark due to wild burro activity. There are 2 more springs, one at the abandoned house and one in Mengel canyon. Watch for the Burros! They pop out of nowhere.
