I have an Anatolian Shepherd Dog called Nanna. She'll be 3 in a couple of days and she was two weeks premature. My parents own Nanna's older sister (1 year older) Bella. We love them both so much that my brother and his fiance bought and named her Misty (Bella's littermate). Gotta say BEST dog breed ever. Our first Anatolian was a rescue that passed away five years ago. Needless to say we love the breed. Nanna is partially blind, one back leg is longer than the other, still hasn't figured out the dog in the mirror is herself and she always sleeps on the bed with me. I remember meeting Sky RedHawk in New Mexico a coupe years ago. He is an amazing flute player. Nothing but good vibes in his shop. I believe it was called Native Sounds in Santa Fe. I remember he showed me a couple tips on the flute. I wanted to buy one from him in the key of G but didn’t have the money. I still regret not buying that flute lol. I hope he is doing good and that I cross paths with him again

I have seen bluebirds up here too, but there's so much habitat for them I doubt I could get them into a nesting box that was man made. Water is the biggest draw. I didn't know there were so many birds up here until I put out the water dishes! Lots of grosbeaks and spotted towhees! This place is Paradise on Earth!

Wow! That's a lot of hungry hummingbirds! We have a pair and their babies, and sometimes the male sings at the top of a tree, on a dead branch, giving us a good view of him. They are very cool to watch. We also have a pair of bluebirds, and they've had two broods this year. You are the one who first told me about feeding them mealworms, so thank you again! I am so glad that you are enjoying your new home. :-)
