Luck of the Iris with that one mate, that Bornholm album is brilliant, surprised me how good that one is. Early Gojira is where it's at for me, when they were essentially a death metal band but live they are monsters. Enjoy the tunes chief

Big Dylan gave me a copy of that Daisy Cutter, Ive had it on but really need to sit down and lend it proper ears mate. Im interested in hearing the non DM stuff you mentioned on that Fulci record. I've seen a couple of people show that new Fulci album, I don't know if I would enjoy it honestly. Never heard of Sluggore, and I have Pig Destroyer on my list to try out. That's really cool that Autopsy has the old poster of the gig you went to, that must have been an awesome gig back in the day with Paradise Lost and Benediction! Nice one 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Quality update, fella! Absolutely ace stack of 20 Buck Spin stuff - I need to pick up that Tzompantli and the Civerous album myself. Both bangers! I can't say I've caught the Fulci bug yet - they sound a bit too slammy for my liking, but maybe I'll get into them if I persist with them! Ace to see you've picked up some Pig Destroyer vinyl, too. I only have Prowler in the Yard on vinyl and Book Burner on CD at present, so I have work to do there, as well! Enjoy the new stuff, buddy! Cheers! 🤘

Excellent package from the legend that is MMM! A parcel containing any Autopsy release is obviously going to go down well! I keep meaning to check out Ten Ton Slug, but I haven't got round to it yet. Gojira are a truly brilliant band that get way too much stick, but those 2 albums are their latest, which aren't their best, tbh. From Mars to Sirius, The Way of All Flesh and L'Enfant Sauvage are all absolutely top tier. Cheers! 🤘

Cool VCLT from Marty here! That's interesting he sent you those Gojira albums, he said for a while he wanted to get rid of them! I didn't realise you've never listened to them before, I just thought you didn't like them. I'll be interested to hear how you get on with those albums, they're the most recent 2 and I'd say not their best stuff. Magma has some good songs on it, I like Stranded and Silvera, but Fortitude I didn't enjoy. I've since sold my copy. Honestly I think you'd prefer the debut Terra Incognita, it's very Avant-Garde Death Metal compared to those ones which lean more on Groove and Post Metal. Enjoy your new stuff Johnny! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

The Ramones boxset is cool. I have all their 80’s records so I passed though it would be cool to have the b-sides record. I would like to see a small boxset of their 90’s records. Sisters Of Mercy, Bauhaus and Sex Gang Children are all great.

I'm wondering how long it will be until you need another extension to house all these different genres 😂 Never been into Nirvana although I don't mind some songs so to speak. I picked up that Pandemonium reissue, great album. That Sisters greatest hits is a banger, Vision Thing is such a great tune. Killer best of Nirvana pick up. That first Foo's album is a ten out of ten. Love a bit of Suede, I have a best of CD. Killer update mate

Nice update, Johnny Lad! Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus and Killing Joke are all bands I've been meaning to try out properly for a long time, but still not got round to it. I'm sure I'll have heard bits, but I doubt I could pick much of their music out if I heard it. I must get on to those! That Ramones boxset looks fantastic, especially for the price, and you can't go wrong with those Foos or Nirvana records, either. Was good to see you last week, mate, as always. Cheers! 🤘
