Which one would be better on smaller days? Looking for an all rounder with more swall waves being what we get here in the UK. Both look great and thanks for this 👍👍

Outstanding turn radius for a 76. Easy entry as you would expect w a midlength. Generates speed backhand way way better than I anticipated and forehand it’s a dream. Great stick if you don’t mind the wait.
@@jeffersonwcox I always assumed the massive was the step up for big days but looking at your video it seems it could do well on smaller days too. What are your thoughts?

Not sure for the massive, but it’s very well glassed the glasser who did it is top notch. For the c bucket it’s got a thick Volan deck patch and then I assume 6+6/6 or something heavy. Moonlight glassing is as good as it gets so anything you get from christenson will be very well made.
I like both but CxCx are easier to purchase here (Spain). I have some and they all are speed machines in average waves, but excell in heavier conditions
Yes I know Chris has been shaping at pukas and they’ve got a licensing deal going on. You can’t go wrong with a c bucket everyone should own one, if I got stuck on an island that’s the board I’d bring so versatile works for small stuff and I’ve had it in pretty big surf in winter in Hawaii, Atlantic hurricane season Central America west coast etc.

The c bucket is 76 21 1/4 3”. The MOTE is 76 21 1/4 2 7/8.

To be honest I haven’t had it in decent waves yet so I’m hesitant to tell you one thing or another. I feels more performancy than the c bucket when I did take it out in 2-3’ slop. It paddles well and has a nice big sweet spot

Have you tried riding the c bucket as a thruster or a twin since you have the fin boxes to do it?
Hey so I had a chance to get the massive out in a few sessions, I didn’t want to write anything without like say 100-200 waves on this thing because I find that it takes a while to really unlock a new board mentally. But basically I think the massive is an outstanding surfboard it’s noticeably narrower in the nose for whatever reason it just doesn’t feel quite as wide in the ears so it knifes in really well it paddles well hides a lot more foam than I thought it had initially. But where I found the massive is just such a great complement to the c bucket is that it turns on a dime I was able to get probably my best cut back on a mid length ever on this board where I was able to actually cut back in tight enough of space to project back up the wave into the curl and climb the foam. It Doesn’t Drive forward quite as well as the c bucket with a two plus one setup 1.6” true Ames side bites and skip Frye 7.5” and it’s maybe a touch lighter than the c buckets so you don’t carry your momentum quite the same way But it just really compliments all of the things to c bucket does well super nicely and I’m really glad I got it
