@@ItsMrZackit could be done by importing the shelf stl into something like Tinkercad... Add some simple rectangular sections on the mounting side with a round inset to fit the magnets in. 8mm or 10mm magnets would be plenty.

True it probably wouldn’t be that hard to do in tinkercad 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nice what color did you get? My store only had black in stock. Ya I love my gridfinity set up so far.

@ItsMrZack they only had black but that's the color I wanted, I feel like maybe they'll release more colors in the future. I'm new to gridfinity but I'm falling in love with all the new possibilities, been printing grids for my grey 5 drawer box.

My store had blue and red along with black, I picked up the red. I hope they do the colors of the big boxes, the green or orange would be sweet. But like everywhere they sell out fast.

@@ItsMrZack Depending on what you are doing in your work boots, you don't necessarily want it to be real anyway. A real goodyear welt is literally a bunch of holes in your boots, so it will definitely not be water proof. It can't be, so don't let anyone fool you. Lots of people say goodyear welting is the "gold standard" of boot construction and that's just not true. So if you need your boots to keep water out, cemented is the way to go (or just rubber boots).

Oh good point. I had not thought about the stitching compromising its waterproofing. I guess in that case I would prefer the cement.

@ Some goodyear welted boots offer a "waterproof" lining (Thorogood is an example)but those will not last as long as the rest of the boot and will break down/leak eventually. If you can wrap your head around it, consider PNW style boots from Frank's, Nicks, JK, White's. I say wrap your head around it because they are expensive, real expensive, but you can get custom fit, or just wide in standard sizing if you need wide. I wear Frank's and I love the arch support, my feet never hurt even after 10 hours standing/walking. I'll never look back, never buy retail brands ever again, and my boots will last years. That's a big pill to swallow if you are used to spending less than $300 on boots, but they will pay for themselves in money you save not buying new boots over and over.

Yeah those are some really nice custom boots. I'm not sure I could "wrap my head around it", they might be the best boot ever but dang those are expensive. Maybe some day I could afford those but at the moment its not in the budget haha.
