I was a devoted watcher of this series as I lived only a few miles from the last filming location village. I recently watched on catch-up. Somehow I must have been unable to see these last ones - so it was new to me. I was shocked by the end and devastated that it was the last Programme. Please, please come back, Peak Practice!!!!! That was such a convincing playing of that part.

Peak Practice wasn't as "gentle" in the early years but it sort of became a cosy drama as the years progressed. After series three it lost a lot of the grit and earthy language and sort of became a show in the mould of Heartbeat (which even Heartbeat wasn't in its first couple of series).

Avenging Angels never got aired for some reason.
