Where is part 3 of the tetrix code on youtube?
Sorry, i never made it. I was super busy at the time, and almost nobody had viewed parts 1 and 2, so I bailed on the project. I think the scoreboard system was pretty much the only thing left to code. You can view the complete game here, if that helps. scratch.mit.edu/projects/685233605
I also covered how to create a graphical scoreboard in a live stream. ruclips.net/user/live0W30WJ4iIQU?feature=share
so im making a game and this realy helped but ther is one problem i want my sprite to go up and down so i did that it was fine at first but when i finished the code i tested it and it was extremely fast do you know how to fix this
🙏
This is really good, especially on Scratch.
when i press the w key link just moves left A LOT. is this fixed in a later video or is somthing wrong?
someone needs to replace the batteries to that fire alarm chiming lmaooooo
Hello. I realise it's been 3 years but can you provide any contact information on Jeffrey? I'm considering attending future games school and would love to know how his experience went after this interview.
Jeffey really enjoyed Futuregames, mostly because of the students he met and collaborated with. The education was so-so, he says. He and some colleagues went on to create their own game dev company, Wrong Organ, which has just released its first game on Steam. It's a narrative sci-fi horror game called Mouthwashing, and it's doing amazingly, with over 200,000 sales so far. You can contact him on X/Twitter ... @Jeffrey_Tomec
Not sure if your gonna read this but I'm trying to get into coding and i wanted to make a galaga type game on scratch as my first game figuring stuff out. I was having trouble with my laser and watch your galaga video. Do you need to put the code that creates a clone of the missle under the ship code? Or could I put that code with the missle code?
Hi there! Yes, the clone making code is right there in the ship sprite. If you want to check your work by looking at the completed game, you can find it here: scratch.mit.edu/projects/399688599/
thx ^v^
Thank you, This helped. I put it in my backpack just in case I forget.
Video: Making sine wave movement in Scratch. Smoke detector: Always with the dead battery
i think this is copy from an youtuber or something
Uhh what mine doesnt shoot...
Wait I fixed it yay
he was left scratch😥
Thank you SO much! With this information ive made 2 cool projects, one using a number/text input and one using booleans. Both worked as intended!
thx a lot im making a td game :D
what if the gun is not only 1, or the purple thing not only 1 but 2
Hello There
TYSM!!
Scratch should really bring this back in some way, especially since I have seen colorblind people state that the purple/high contrast update made it worse for them, and also, you can kind of tell with image viewers that the update didn't help at all (there was a kind of related feature in Scratch 2.0 called "Edit Block Colors", and this allowed you to change the block colors, as well as save the colors to your computer)
Two problems it only shoots a few and it always shoots from the back of my character
The location of the projectile, relative to your gun, depends on where its center point is in the the graphics editor. Try editing the bullet graphic so it's in the exact center of the window, where the little crosshair is. Your gun should also be centered. You're running out of bullets because you're creating a clone of "myself", which makes every bullet existing on the screen also clone itself, until you hit Scratch's 300-clone limit. You can solve this problem by putting the bullet creation script in the gun instead of the bullet. Honestly, this was a student-made video and it's a little out of date. Check out my newer, updated tutorial on shooting projectiles in Scratch here, and I think it will make more sense. ruclips.net/video/qXtD6jK8jmc/видео.html
@@AtomecAcademy it worked thank you!
very very interesting Andrew, Such a detail explanation
I don't know why but this did not work
Finally someone knows how to put art into games.
Where's Ben? I love his Smash Bros tutorial in scratch😢
Ben was really amazing, but unfortunately he was with us for a short time as a co-op student. He's moved on to other things.
Holy fricker frackers it looks so good
It didn't work😢
The script works. You've put a block in the wrong place or forgotten a block. Watch the video again and double check that it matches what you see on the screen.
Very nice, thank you for this video. Actually i use Snap! Berkeley. Is it possible to create a multiplayer real time game in Snap! as well?
Thanks for the feedback! I've looked at snap, but I don't have a lot of experience with it. As long as they support cloud variables, or some equivalent, it should work.
??? It did not work
thank you for your help!
Whenever I did the new block thing, it just kept making new blocks and almost crashed the game.
Its not inline with my gun and is above it
thanks so much i was making ww2 themed/ww1 themed france shooter game so thanks for the help
i never knew a scratch tutorial about tetris starts with the word "Russia"
Thank you
ima add luigi
I cannot shoot more than 10 pls help
wait… THATS ME
meo2244 was here
it did not help😥🔮😿😭😢😭😿
Can someone please tell me if the display score variable is for this sprite only or for all sprites
Display score is for all sprites. Usually in these tutorials, if I don't say right at the start that it's a local variable, you can assume that the variable is for all sprites. Hope you get this working!
thanks so much
Thanks but how I make it go up
thank for the tip🙏🙏
how do I Make a Unlock system
Thanks
I don't want complex code😆
i realy like this
you deserve more views and like you have help me so much
