They're out there doing it for all of us every day 24/7. Firemen and women and cops and Permidics - EMTs who go into buildings and burning cars and save people everyday, if it wasn't for them then who was it that saved your family and friends when they were trapped? It was the first responders that's who. We should thank them everyday for what they do. When ever I see a fire truck I give a thumbs up and a wave, because I know that they appreciate it. My stepfather is a former paramedic, my mother is a nurse, my cousin is a firefighter, and another cousin is a cop. To any first responder who sees this: thank you for what you do. I had to do a 12 hour ride along with the North Las Vegas Fire Department for EMT training. It was a busy 12 hours and I can't even imagine what a 48 hour shift is like. What I did in Afghanistan is nothing compared to what y'all do day in, day out. Again: thank you. Please stay safe.

When I watched this everytime now it reminds me of my dad he was a FIRE/EMS in the past and he was a AMR dispatcher in Georgia and he passed away yesterday and it still hard for me even though I know he's gone and not hurting, doesn't have to worry about his asthma I know he's looking down at me but it still hurts

I'm part of the Fire Department about little over 2yrs and still going to finish my certification to be a firefighter.Lot of people dont know what we go through in everyday lives.

I'm a first responder and i have a serious question. Are first responders really heroes? I don't feel like one. To be honest, I'm really burned out. Sorry if i sound like a jerk because I'm not trying to be. I back all my brothers in the blue, red and white

My uncle is a police officer in Alberta ill stand with my brace firefighters paramedics police officers who run into the danger while we run and hide when you threaten the officer he will attack that's his job is to protect him and defend the law don't support the military who gave you that right to be that way there's nothing I wouldn't do I'll gladly run into a burning building to save a life I'll run into the gunfire for my brothers and sisters in blue or pull my soldiers from danger it's called Comradship

For those who disliked this video, I hope you realize how much strength, mental and physical preparedness, training, sacrifice, courage, responsibility, kindness, and constant things changing and not knowing when exactly, and much more. It takes SO much. To be honest, after emergency personnel were called to the house, I started become upset by them and rarely agreed with them. But I've come to realize that it's so much harder holding a grudge or being upset with them than to be thankful for all they do and risk their lives everyday. Because say one call for a broken leg could lead to police involvement because of them possibly starting to refuse help, or a car crash could wind you up with your lives and others gone too soon. And more. So I've been studying EMT-B in hopes of continuing until EMT-P for about 8 months now. Because I'd want to help others too. Not for any person reason except for the fact I want to help others right back. So thank you again for all you do.

I have been in emergency services first as a firefighter and now as a firefighter / paramedic for almost 31 years . i have even started teaching the younger people coming into the profession as an instructor at my local community college and at a my fire dept and another county fire dept . I have seen many changes over the years but one thing remains the same , you can't please all people . I have been flipped off going to an emergency call , cussed at by people having to wait until we get through an intersection . Have had people nearly hit the truck because they were in a hurry to go nowhere even though we were running emergency traffic to the hospital . I had someone pull in front of the fire truck i was driving one day , thank god nothing was coming in the other lane . And i have been on the other side where people come up to us and say a simple thank you . I can say with 100 percent certainty , that i am not a member of emergency services for the money cause its not there . I some times ask why i do the job ? Then i have that one call that i made a difference and then reminded why i became a firefighter and a paramedic . Thank you to every member of emergency services for your sacrifice and dedication . May god bless you and your families . And to all that made the ultimate sacrifice , signal 5-5-5-5 . RIP brothers and sisters , you have earned your reward.
