Most of us are unhappy with the Barbie Best Director snub for Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie for Best Actress (I say most to respect the haters of it) But other snubs that should be discussed (or I think) Milo Machando Graner for Best Supporting Actor in Anatomy Of A Fall Radical getting a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Danilo Guardiola and Jennifer Trejo for Best Supporting Actress Dominic Sessa for Best Supporting Actor in The Holdovers 20 Days In Mauripol for Best International Film (and other nominations since the directors and filmmakers risked their lives to make it) Peaches for Best Original Song in The Super Mario Bros Movie Monster for Best Actress to Sakura Ando and Soya Karukowa for Best Actor and for Best Original Screenplay Oppenheimer for Best Visual Effects Godzilla Minus One for Best Sound and Best Original Score M3GAN for Best Actress to Violet McGraw and Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Song to Tell Me Your Dreams and Best Make Hair And Make Up (since, it took a lot of work to put the mask for M3GAN) Five Nights At Freddy’s for Best Visual Effects and Best Sound Leonard Stennich for Best Supporting Actor in The Teachers Lounge as well as Best Cinematography and Best Original Score American Symphony in Best Documentary Feature and Best Original Score and maybe in a few other categories Sound Of Freedom for Best Actor to Jim Caviezel and Best Original Score and Best Original Screenplay (since a story about rescuing children from global child trafficking needs to be seen and acclaimed) Shayda for Best International Feature and Best Actress to Zar Amir Ebrehami and Best Director Camp Isn’t Home from Theater Camp for Best Original Song (I mean when has a song sung by kids ever been nominated?) Still for Best Documentary Feature (since it honors Micheal J Fox and documents his struggles with Parkingsons) and since it’s a movie about movies and that is a literal thank you for our movies Beyond Utopia for Best Documentary Feature (I mean it’s a real life Survival story about defecting from North Korea. Guess the Academy didn’t choose it because they have a problem with North Korea, even when it literally is against North Korea AF) Acting categories and Production Design for Society Of The Snow Every Body for Best Documentary Feature 2018 for Best International Feature Film (Malayalam language movies need to be recognized) Stamped for Best Documentary Feature (especially since it’s against racism and tackles it really big) The Quiet Epidemic for Best Documentary Feature Film (could have seen it coming since it’s a health movie and Oscars have a problem with health movies) A Hero’s Journey The Making of Percy Jackson and The Olympians for Best Documentary Short Subject Once Upon A Studio for Best Animated Short (it’s the only good thing Disney has made this year) (and it’s the perfect tribute for 100 years of Disney) Wings Of Dust for Best Documentary Short Subject Meet In The Middle” from “Flora and Son” “Can’t Catch Me Now” from “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” The Color Purple for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Song for Keep It Moving Humo for Best Animated Short Last Song Of Kabul (since it talks about the issues of msuic in Taliban ruled Afghanistan) Let Her Sing (I mean it talks about how Iranian women are banned from singing in public outside of their homes and with their families) A Revolution On Canvas for Best Documentary Feature After Death for Best Documentary Feature Film Yellow for Best Live Action Short An Avocado Pit for Best Live Action Short (Portugal really needs to be acknowledged by The Academy) Leonardo DiCaprio for Best Actor in Killers Of The Flower Moon (I mean he carried the whole movie) Are You There God It’s Me Margaret for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actress for Abby Ryder Foreston and Best Costume Design and either Rachel McAdams or Kathy Bates or even Elle Graham for Supporting Actress and Benny Safdie for Best Supporting Actor Killers Of The Flower Moon for Best Supporting Actor to William Belleau (he had more of an important presence in the movie) Killers Of The Flower Moon for Best Adapted Screenplay The Peasants for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score and Best International Feature (I mean its literally a moving painting and it had a lot of work to paint all that by hand) Boy And The Heron for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score and Best Picture (come on, animation deserves better. Especially with this movie. Also missed with Guillermo Del Toros Pinnochio last year) The First Slam Dunk for Best Animated Feature Origin for Best Director to Ava DuVurnay and Best Actress to Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, Best Supporting Actress to Vera Farmiga and Best Adapted Screenplay Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal for All Of Us Strangers and Best Adapted Screenplay for it It Ain’t Over for Best Documentary Feature And of course Anthony Hopkins for Best Actor in Freud’s Last Session (I mean he’s the GOAT)
@@emiliobello2538 I always never understood why people got upset over Gerwig’s snub in Director and Robbie’s snub in Actress when Gerwig was a co-writer on Barbie meaning she got nominated for Adapted Screenplay and Robbie was a co-producer on Barbie meaning she got nominated for Best Picture
