Beautiful Hand Stitched American Silk Quilt from the late 1800s. The ultra modern design in this piece of American folk art is reminiscent of quilts from Gee’s Bend Alabama. It was hand stitched with individually cut silk pieces in rectangular forms about 1” x 5”. The variety of material in brilliant colors is a joy to look at and appreciate.
