The new MORE AT SEA changes appetizers and dessert quantities. 3 appetizers and 3 desserts.

To me the Lotus Garden was a good variety of Asian food similar to Shanghai restaurant on another NCL ship complimentary food. Small portions made super fast and the place was always packed so you couldn't get too much to feel full. It was like eating in a rushed school cafeteria. Made me wonder if the food was pre-made.

Portions larger than expected are relative to YOUR appetite! I don't want a $45 meal so small I have to lick the plate to get my money's worth.

An Irish coffee is covered on WHICH drink pkg? It was NOT on the basic (Premium) drink pkg. Must have had the Premium Plus drink pkg.

Nickel and Dime time when you can't even get a filet mignon covered without an upcharge! Both the small filet 5oz and the 8oz were always covered by a Specialty dinner pkg! Back 8n 2015 on the Breakaway i got a Porterhouse and added a lobster tail for only a $10 upcharge! So sad.

I have been to Halifax NS I think it was around 1982 when my US Navy ship docked in Portland Maine and several of the crew took the ferry over to Halifax and we were lucky that the seafood shacks on the pier were open and after our tour of the fort we stopped in a lobster seafood shack that had $25 AYCE lobster with many sides. Later, we went into town and checked out the many street stores with numerous item for sale then as it got near sunset we stopped in a bar which was similar to the TV program CHEERS bar with numerous friendly local folks. Then took the ferry back to Portland and watched the lobstermen at the port packing lobsters for shipping out. A very nice visit.

Trying local specialty foods can be a flip of the coin. As you found out with that shark. Can't wait to hear about the Main Dining rooms. I still won't go to iceland or Alaska as I've lived in Florida many years. The cold would be tough to endure.

The PREMIUM beverage pkg IS the standard drink pkg. It is the PREMIUM PLUS pkg that covers Starbucks, energy drinks, and water containers. The FAS PLUS pkg goes one better with top shelf Alcohol.

I was booked on the Jade 24Mar25 for a Panama Canal cruise, but NCL canceled it due to a charter of the ship i was told.

I'll be on the Pearl in March 2025 for a 12 day cruise to the East Caribbean ABC Islands. My room will be an Aft-Facing Penthouse Suite with Large Balcony. Can't wait to be back on the Pearl once again.

Wish we could get all the related videos connected and auto play instead of having to go on a search out of order.

I totally agree with the smoking rules being enforced. As a former smoker I am very sensitive to any smell of smoke and my eyes hurt. Why would the chocolate martini be $18?

I would never cruise to any freezer box country! Especially on the NCL Prima type ships where most of the ship relax areas are outdoors.
