I am a beginner in music composition with many ideas, and I want to share my compositions, no matter how simple or empty they are. I use Cubase, Online Sequencer and also a bit of FL Studio. I have a lot of ideas on the piano, but I don't have much time to spend on music programs, I will upload more music when I have time. BYE❤️
"SILVER KNIGHT" by Oiolosseo | Medieval theme and Mixolydian mode.
In this theme I've tried to make it with medieval style⚔️, using instruments like trombone, harpsichord, harp… And also using the Mixolydian mode. The Mixolydian mode is one of the seven modes in music, it consists in Mayor scale, with b7, the last note of the scale is graver than in the normal Mayor scale. And wit gives to the song a medieval touch.

In this theme, I used Lydian mode. The Lydian mode is the brightest mode of all (brighter than the major scale). It's like a normal major scale, but with the major 4th note, and this allows the second chord to be major and not minor like in the major scale (I know it's a mess😂). And it's also a Lofi theme, very calm, with reverb, very quiet instruments like the piano... This type of music is us...

In this theme I tried to mix "Ancient lizard" and electronic style. To make the melody, I use Spanish guitar and bass (to give an Ancient lizard touch), and the chords are made with synths to make it more electronic and give a touch of space. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT ❤️! First, there is a lot of reverb. The reverb is hard to put on a track, because in the Online Sequencer, the reverb is bad, and I have to download the audio, put the reverb on an external web, and add it with the other parts of the song with Audacity. This is the first theme I didn't use Online Sequencer to create. I used Cubase, the best music program I know, but obviously it's not free😢. I hope you like it because it's a lot of work. The wooden stick you can hear in the song is the captain of the ship, tapping his foot on the floor because he's enjoying the music, but because his foot is wooden, it sounds like that.
