If you’re on pc there’s a mod that plays the conversations while you’re on the mako doing side missions! It’s a little busted but it worked well enough for me to hear a lot of conversations I’d never heard before.

If I recall correctly that happens in the original too, the news to conversation ratio felt off when I played it before legendary edition.

ME2 and especially ME3 did not lack squad interactions. They may have removed the elevator conversations but they more than made up for it through the Normandy chats(intercom or face to face). ME3 made the Normandy more alive because of that. And not mention more conversations during missions.

@@BoyDugo02 In ME1, I could get ANY combination of squadmates to talk to each other and have different things to talk about, thanks to the elevators. You DON'T get that in ME2 and ME3. In ME2 , how many times do Jack and, say, Samara, talk to each other? ZERO. Oh, and you have to HUNT for those RARE, specific points where a squadmate will talk, and you better be a good listener, because you CAN'T make them repeat themselves, unlike in ME1. And in ME3, can you remember any conversations between, say, Ashley and Javik, on the ship? This is one of the FEW things I loved about MEA; it brought back the squadmate conversations. Having Vetra roast Liam was music to my ears.

@@NostalgicGamerRickOShay And that's what I love about ME1, the elevator convos. You get a lot of insights. But the missions have a very little variance in terms of squad dialogues. A lot of those dialogues have the same sentences just voiced by whoever you took with you (examples are the conversations with Soveriegn and Vigil). But there are still dialogues that are unique like bringing Liara to Noveria. In ME3, a lot of conversations flow differently depending on who you bring. Examples are the conversations with Wrex and Kirrahe on Surkesh and bringing Javik on Thessia. People acknowledge your squadmates more on ME3. You may have noticed I got nothing in ME2. It's because I understand that it's the weakest in terms of squad dialogue. Especially on the loyalty missions. The 2nd squadmate is just there. But I am just glad they added the Normandy chats on ME3. You can tell what kind of relationships characters have with each other. In ME1 and ME2 the squadmate relationships were mostly professional due to the lack of personal dialogues and banter.

Kill it, and the squadmates each have VERY different things to say. 😁 ME2 has plenty of differing 2nd squadmate dialogue for certain loyalty missions, such as Jacob's. During the ME3 Citadel Party, or Epilogue as some players call it, I was SUPER disappointed that the squad interaction stuck with cliched stuff, such as Jack vs Miranda. I REALLY wanted to see Ashley and Jack interact. NEVER happened. 😢

​@WanderingLoner1 Same with Garrus and Shepard. Honestly, the Citadel DLC made Shep and Garrus seem so much like a married couple, that and, I think there's a glitched line that doesn't ever activate for some reason in the Citadel DLC, but Garrus starts talking to Shepard about the fish tank, and how it would make a good story for talking to Turian in-laws.

A huge shame that Bioware threw away my script and told me to go screw myself while continuing to pay them. I created a blueprint to a medieval fantasy alternate universe that has Asari and Quarians instead of the typical Elves and Dwarves. Rannoch would be a Republic in this alternate universe, with the Quarian admirals and captains would be Senators. Tali would be a rich Senator's daughter. 😎

As someone whose favorite race is the Geth, and whose favorite character is Legion, Tali was always the ideal partner for my male Shepards and I think she's a great character.

​@@iamlordstarbuilder5595there are exceptions but from what I see from Community the Geth fans are like a hivemind that constantly like to hate on Tali and Quarians.

@@sandrogamer30018 I'm very much pro-Legion and I actually hate the writers of ME3 who deliberately made the Quarians less sympathetic and more belligerent than the original canon. The Geth, cool as they are, slaughtered and tortured Quarians in the Morning War, and the Quarians, stupid the choice may have been, can easily be understood. The Geth were the Pandora's Box, and the Quarians tried to close it before it inevitably got out of hand. But that was their mistake, directly causing the thing they feared and nearly dooming themselves as a result. Tali likewise hates the Geth, because all she's ever known about the Geth is violence and genocide. If my entire experience with a race of robots was their tendency to shoot on sight and a history of merciless violence, I'd probably be racist towards them too. It's all about nuances, and that's why I feel like Mass Effect 3's story overall kinda sucks. A lot of that nuance is just thrown away, in favor of anthropocentrism, high horses, and trigger-happy action movie traditional "badassery".

@@iamlordstarbuilder5595 Everything you said is valid points. ME3 really has bad writting, sadly. I only play it for gameplay and characters. Tuchanka was the only arc I though was well written and even then it makes you sympathize with Krogans. I love Wrex and Krogans but I see Dalatrass's point of view as well, Wrex doesn't live forever and whoever replaces him could be another Wreav or worse.

Not sure I would ever have the patience to pull that off but nice work doing so and I agree that Agent is a ripoff of Hunk.

It's a really good game and, while a departure from the usual survival horror, was nowhere near as bad as everyone made it out to be. Plus I love the Lighting Hawk.
