It probably would have been clearer for everyone however I race in VR and don't really have a choice. I find it extremely hard to drive without VR as it is and to do so in an unrealistic camera angle would probably compound my issue. Perhaps I could have tried something with the replay cameras I'll have a look into it next time I do a similar video

I only really race AI in F1 so luckily I don't need to push the boundaries for track limits etc But codies do need to get their s in order Mainly race in ACC for PvP don't have the time these days to continue with iRacing

For me personally mainly it completely ruins the immersion. I literally watch a line and not the track. Secondly I find that people using the racing line don't learn the track. Finally when I see people on Reddit posts such as SIM racing stewards those who use the racing line tend to cause more accidents than those who don't. Obviously it depends what you want from Sim Racing, people who drive with a rear chase cam (like mario kart) I can understand want a racing line and beginners too. But beyond that I think most people want to race similar to how real racing works

If you're on a budget I do recommend it, I've never had an issue and it feels good enough quality to me... I've only raced with the thrustmaster t300 previously so I don't have much to go off. But it's certainly a step up from that however... SIM Racing Corner recently done a video about how you can use any wheel with the fanatec wheel bases if you prefer another different brand.

I dont have a choice playing in VR, but I do think it should be mandatory for all esports events etc... I think that's the main reason people say F1 is an arcade game 🤣

Codies F1s are simcade but for a few years now, I've been playing them only on cockpit view without any visual assist. Only the MFD and the radio commands.

Thanks, I get so frustrated if I watch a video of someone who is at least as fast as me (usually faster 😅) if they use the racing line. I think VR gives me a slight benefit for judging the cornering speed, and I probably didn't really even take into consideration those racing with a controller

To me as I race in VR it kills the immersion and I think it must in any game If anyone is using a racing line then the difference between arcade and SIM won't make a difference

Yeah it's certainly a fun sequence to drive. I remember the first time I managed it flat out in ACC in a GT3, that felt amazing after many failed attempts. It's fairly easy in an F1 car thanks to the insane downforce. I may be a bit hard on myself but I suppose I'm comparing myself to other content creators. Let's just hope for a good race this weekend and not too much rain 🌧️ don't want to sit around for a few hours for another 2021 race

Thanks Yeah I'm probably a little slow on the shifts. I have noticed this but not actively focused myself on stopping the bad habbit. luckily this isn't a lap I'm really pushing for a time however I will keep it in mind for my driver career series. Im still learning most of the tracks, takes a while 🫣

@@SCoeSimRacing hello mate. I've just test it with the change in anti aliasing and it is still very shakky. Only in the meta quest. On the pc screen it is steady. Is there any kind of seting for sensibiliry in the head set? I've turned every vibrations off. Curbs, on track, off track. Still shakky. Even just the movement of my arms turning the wheel make the "driver view" shake like hell.

Hmmm im not sure... What I'll do is send over my settings when I can and hopefully that will be able to fix your issue. I assume you have the latest Nvidia drivers

Yes It goes clear, but as I'm in VR it doesn't actually affect my driving as I have full 3D. besides I like it to be somewhat how the real experience is 👍

I'm in VR so FOV isn't something that can change

No still PC only unfortunately... I assume it will work on ps5 once they move to a new game engine... But don't hold your breath on that probably won't be till F1 26
