Man thanks for this. Had some confusion after a scanner beacon popped. You saved me from wasting money too I'll wait until im lvl 16 I guess cause there's just no point to these regular battle beacons 🤷‍♂️

All the retries either manually or during each attempt is probably using a lot more data than one good attempt.

It's funny, I probably use the 5 L8 resonators --> 40 L1s the most. As someone who walks a ton while playing, I always have a ton of rare kinetic capsules to burn through and I always have a ton of L8 resonators from drone hacks, so being able to do max deploys or even single deploys on a ton of portals that I don't care about with L1s works great. I also love how it essentially let's me have more resonators than the storage cap would allow me to have. I can just sit on 7 fully cooked capsules with 40 L1 resonators in each and only open them when I need them. That's 280 resonators only taking up 7 spots in my inventory :D

My understanding. Only one size S2 Cell is used when calculating the MU for a field. The size of the field determines what size S2 Cell is used. Going from a large field to a slightly larger field over a heavily populated area might decrease MU. Going from a large field to a slightly larger field over a heavily populated area might increase MU substantially. If the slightly larger field requires the MU calculator to use a larger size S2 cell in its calculation.

Could you do an episode on the scoreboard/checkpoints/cycles? I think that's something that can be fairly confusing for new players, and I haven't been able to find anyone who's made a decent video tutorial on it. As a newer player myself, these videos have been super helpful, so thanks a bunch for making them!

I wish I had seen this pretty useful video earlier. Just used a rare Battle Beacon because I thought I could use an AP/MU generator with it. Then I guess I have to level up a bit to get the very rare variant. ;-)

Great video that confirms my observations! I've been using Adventure Sync since its introduction and can finally level my Trekker medal faster than before. :-)

A very interesting video. The work was worth it! The analysis confirms my previous observations that good GPS and cell phone reception are very important in addition to walking speed in order to effectively advance both the kinetic capsules and the Trekker Medal. Hopefully Adventure Sync is coming soon...

A great feature! Almost unusual that it took Niantic so long to introduce this into Ingress as well. With Android there may be problems with the sync to the game depending on the apps and the Android version and settings. That's why it sometimes doesn't work at all or only unreliably compared to iOS.

Great info here! I’m playing in the boonies - the only player in town 😂 but there are higher level opposition portals in nearby towns. I’ve had to flip and block a few times. Which Ito En transmuter would increase the odds of getting the flip items? I’ve got 7 that are the wrong colour lol and never seem to get the ones I could use.

There are missions listed on the MD map that are off-line, so be sure to check the missions on the intel map before making travel plans.

Chris, If you are talking about the inventory function remember - you have to be a C.O.R.E. subscriber before you will see items on the inventory list. Is this what you were talking about?

no matter how far i zoom it in never loads portals. always says loading.......even in a 5g area or on my computer. is the map broken or am i doing something wrong

the update for the drone dropped recenly and its super confusing

The Hacking Streak has long been part of the game in Pokémon GO and therefore it is only logical that it will be integrated into Ingress Prime in a similar form at some point. Very welcome, especially for young agents like me, in order to achieve the necessary badges for the higher levels. :-)

Apologies - I missed up a couple of items on the "inverted" version. I said I need to scout one - when I really need to visit and capture but NOT scout. Yeah it can get confusing.
