there could be a reason. if this person had a homestead and this puppy was being raised to be a livestock guardian dog, then cropping the ears helps them defend better because it gives predators less to grab hold of in a fight. it's fairly common with Kangal and Anatolian for that reason. I personally didn't do it with my guardian, but it's very unlikely my dogs will have to fend off anything larger than a cayote.

Actually, clipping a bullies ears are beneficial to the dog being as if you don’t clip them, bullies specifically are immune to higher chances of infections in their ears. Do some research brother, not everything has be cruel.

@@CertiFried2K they cut them off for aesthetic and so they don’t get bitten off in dog fights. Just like EVERY OTHER DOG ON THE PLANET cropping ears does nothing but injure the animal

They have no choice in what you do to them ear clipping should be illegal. You have a choice in what you do with yourself! Dogs do not. Cropping ears is painful life changing and it's traumatizing

Also you didn't answer me on the part where I asked if you would like to get your ears clipped?? Would you like your ears clipped? And if you say no then why would you not think about the dog if he says no? The real question is.. why would you want to hurt them?
