It's one of my favorite trucks on the mountain. The thing does so good in the snow, and side Hilling. Definitely a good driver as well.
@trevorshannon875 I used to have the purple 82 datsun 720 4x4 king cab for a while. So would go up government all the time but it was carb and always had problems. Same with wire problems. Sadly I got rid of it and I just don't have time to build a new truck. Really miss going wheeling. It's so fun

Yea its one of my favorite builds. All I know is that it has Toyota landcruiser front end and dual transfer cases, and I'm pretty sure he has a 4.7 kit as well. He's running 47 inch pitbull growlers with dual beadlocks. I think he has the 2.7 motor in it. But yea, he's got it nice and low to the ground and it gets around very well.

I know it's got dual transfer cases as well as a 4.7 kit. Locked front and rear, I'm not sure on what motor he has in it. This truck is one of my favorites, it has no problem crawling just about anywhere he wants to go.
How do you keep the tires on the wheel side hilling like that without beadlocks?
This is my buddy's rig, he's been lucky to not have blown a beed. I think it helps that the tires are 16 in wide on 12 inch wide wheels and they are aluminum as well. He's running a new set up now. But it was surprising he never blew one over the years.

Yea, it's got a 3 inch lift with super atv rear and front a arms. I have 35x12.5 tires on it with the 15x10 beadlocks. I've also done some clutch work to help it with the tires. Rhino axles all around as well.

@@trevorshannon875 one thing I get is a lot of snow. My driveway access is 3km off road through the bush to the nearest logging road. Last winter I got 11ft total snow. February I got 6ft in 4 days. That's why I have a unimog

This is a buddy's build. From what I believe it's got a Toyota Frame and running gear underneath with fj80 front end. And dual transfer cases and I think it has the 2.7 motor in it. Also running 47 inch pitbull tires.

5-gallon buckets for ballast is pretty clever aside from the fact that they're unsecured. I mean damn. You can fill or empty them in seconds, they aren't too big to handle by yourself, they stack and take up little space when empty, and they have essentially no weight when empty, and they're cheap as hell, too. The even poorer poor man's ballast bag. I love it.
