I think shields are useless. Like I've never seen someone in this game who used shields. They just expand your hitbox.

Frankly, they had to win 1st try against an experimental craft, we have luxury of knowing the fight either attempting it in the past or seeing somebody else do it.

Now do it without losing more then 50% health(can't lose limbs in game but have to remain functional) and no repairs (they didnt use them) and then MAYBE you can call them losers.

You do realize these people have only 1 life right? 621 has us, and space time on his side. On your first play through if you went with one of their designs you'd 100% lose too.

To be fair the reality we see in the story trailer is a lot harsher than the game implies, 617s pulse shield got taken down with 2 or 3 bullets and lost his sword cause the arm joint got shot off as they sped towards the bullets. While just before getting one tapped 619 completely levels a base with his back rockets (in the game buildings are completely indestructible and are encouraged to be used as cover from rockets). With finally 620 who gets both arms blown clean off with grazing shots from the energy canon on the back of the CATAPHRACT (however those shot in game serve to stagger AT BEST with really you needing to stand still to see severe damage) 617 going for the kill the way they did shoving the gatling in the neck of the CATAPHRACT and dieing from the Core Expansion due to damage was icing on the cake as to how harsh and grim the reality of Armored Core truly is. We could try but we'd get ran over and pushed to the side in game if we tried to match Assault Boosts with the CATAPHRACT let alone stop it and lift it and don't get me started on doing that much damage with any weapon let alone a single gatling even with direct hits from ACS overloads

Going off all the scratches and how they lost limbs, and how 617 *only had the minigun left*, im near 100% sure they had already been in prolonged combat for a WHILE before CATAPHRACT showed up. 620 is just garbage thou. 617 and 619 were pretty good.

Well, it wasn't really a 3v1, plus the cataphract was at a way longer distance, whereas this was an ambush

And the interesting thing is, the real Raven would run through the Cataphract like it's nothing. Raven has awesome close range attack abilities, very fast and can always get in close.

619 had two VTC-12s tho...

Didn't one of those guys use a pulse shield in the story trailer? Also, stuffing an Assault Armor blast in the CATAPHRACT's face would have been epic.

I'd imagined that the previous hounds stumbled upon the cataphract after a long slog to get there and were barely held together. (Evidenced by the lack of ammo) After all this was Walter's first foray into the PCAs weirder weapons and he probably didn't know about it

I believe C1-249 Sulla was also there. He just wasn't shown in the story trailer possibly to avoid spoilers. "Where's 619 and 620? Dead?" "Which ones did I kill? I wonder..." He also shows so much confidence in fighting 621. Goes to show that he's that much of a better pilot than any of Walter's previous hounds.

I cannot get over that thumbnail lmfao also I cannot get over how goofy it is that they would just have a normal ass MT as the core of this tank the size of two entire city blocks like what the hell benefit are those little tiny legs providing for the price of being a giant ass weak spot in the FRONT of the vehicle how is the juggernaut a smarter design than a PCA special forces contraption I guess they just tried to innovate too hard or something

Nice video bro, I did this before too, its fun to play as the 3 hound before 621, role playing the events as them. Also not that it matters that much but I think 619 had the BML-G1/P07VTC-12 on both shoulder slot tho, both is clearly the same

I love this but all AC AMV always show damage in a differnt retrospect. Like in the AC2 when then drop from the sky... The Zio matrix dude gets killed in a volley of EMEURADR missles. The blue mech (leos klein) kills the other gray mech in two hits with the Mk.II karaswara. Littlerry popped his head off the 2nd hit. AC3 intro same thing the i tro videos are more like 100% reality and then you got the game. I feel if you got hit once you would die... We need a realism MOD!!!
