Internal temp should be 155, pull and foil rest for 30 minutes. The USDA recommends an internal temp of 165, which will give you dry turkey in my opinion. Your cooking times and temperatures may vary, use your good judgement to make sure it's done.

The algorithm brought me here. Great video and I'm totally game to try this. You forgot to mention at 9:53 that this video is sponsored by vodka, but recovered nicely later. :)
Nice - where does one score quality honey?
Amazon carries alot of variety, I only use raw and unfiltered.....
Scored some local honey at Sprouts, farmers market is my other go to.
glad i have airlocks lol
My bottle glass break last night😢
I added sugar to a growler I thought was finished fermenting then waited about 2 months it didn’t burst out like that but the amount of co2 that was released made me shocked it didn’t explode.
Well done.

What model and year?
2011 Elantra.
Very lucky not to be picking shards of glass out of your eyeballs.

Thats why i open my batches in the bathtub and keep them in a large bin in my closet to ferment. Im gonna try to put some cheesecloth on my next cider batch to see if i can ferment it without any chance of an explosion
This is my favorite video on RUclips
Wow you wasted all that good beer. I open them very slowly and if the foam starts rising put it upside-down over a glass. Sqirt some into the glass than turn back up and release more co, then repeat till no more pressure. I do it all the time it only takes one minute to open and drink. Wear safety glasses and gloves if you want, is better than wasting beer.
thanks for sharing!
your so lucky...AS WE SPEAK... My room stinks cause my 5 liter burst and shot so high it hit the roof...my alarm went wild XD oh lord the smell AAAAH
Maybe put a tea towel over it next time.
"explosion".....
It seems that, five years later, this video gets recommended by RUclips to the entire homebrew community. :D
a tip: watch series at flixzone. Been using it for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Hendrix Sergio Yup, been using flixzone} for since november myself =)
@Hendrix Sergio Yea, have been using flixzone} for years myself :)
@Hendrix Sergio yea, I have been watching on Flixzone} for since november myself :D
@Hendrix Sergio yup, I have been using Flixzone} for months myself :D
Stop wasting it, open over your primary and let ferment a couple days more 🙄 and bulk prime!!!!!!!!
Do you bottle condition in the growler?
The wife is not gonna be happy about that
LOL great job man you live and learn
Been there!!
I made this mistake when I made my first beer batch. Small amounts of sugar in each bottle and refrigerate just slightly above freezing after a few days will prevent this problem
😂
Lucky to not have that growler explode!
I like the way you were so calm about the whole thing
It's the stupidest thing I've ever seen
Haven't seen much have you?
Oh. My. Gush.
Haha! We have had some over carbs, but holy dang
If it haven't happened at least once to you, then you're not a total home brewer. I normally had this problems with the hard seltzer, but with the beers I have it controlled yet.
I disagree. Just be more patient and this doesn't have to happen. It's not a right of passage, just a admission of impatience. That being said, I, too, have done this. But worse. Exploding glass everywhere. Won't make that mistake again.
You know it's supposed to stay in the fermenter for more than 30 minutes before bottling, right?
Pour it in a glass and call it a hazy ipa.. Was thinking about the three stooges.. bottles by a fire “we all put the yeast in!”
Please let us know if you are alive or did the wife kill you
Liquid gold for your septic!!!!!
laugh so hard
Wow! That's too bad....🙄😥😭
I see that trader joes ginger beer bottle in the back
I've done this more thay once unfortunately
Can anyone drop me some advice ref the above please, I’ve done an ipa but I’m sure I’ve over primed it, it’s been bottled for 7 days now and I opened one last night for a test and it didn’t volcano out but it fizzed just enough so a small bit of foam breached the top. I opened another and it did the same. Will this progress any worse and potentially cause bottle bombs or is it just a bit over primed? (I didn’t lose any beer due to gushing and it tastes great) thanks all!
It probably wasn't done fermenting in the first place. And with the extra priming sugar, there was just to much to ferment. Be really sure your beer is fully fermented in your primary bucket or whatever you use. It will probably get worse, or the same. But unfortunaly, it will not get better.
@@rasmus6352 thanks for replying! I did wonder but it was in the primary fermenter for 2 weeks and the FG was unmoved for the last 4 days. Think I’ll get as much as I can in the fridge on Friday night and have a session on it this weekend haha, oh well, it’s an excuse to get another brew going!
@@tremblayalex8915 oh okay, yeah the fermentation should be done in under two weeks. Maybe you added too much priming sugar? Try to chill them at the lowest temp you can, the "foaminess" will reduce if it's really cold. Anyhow, cheers and enjoy your beer dude!
Way over conditioned!!!!
You can't over-condition. You can over-prime.
Man, the messes I've made while brewing. Nothing beats the ol' trub-clogged airlock on a five gallon bucket though. Had one do that and I was awakened at 2 in the morning to what sounded like a shotgun going off. Checked the closet and it looked like someone had detonated 5 gallons of beer and trub over every square inch on my closet. And you're very right....the wife is NEVER happy about these situations.
I've had some vigorous brews recently. I just leave the airlock and bung off with a jug over the top. I think I lost 1 - 2 litres of beer to kraussen overflow. The airlock kept popping, and the pets were really interested, but the house smelled of beer. Anyway, they both turned out really fantastic.
2k21
I once opened a swing top of overcarbonated home brew over my balcony and it shot 15 feet and blew the cap right off the bottle
This video is recommended by RUclips in 2k21, but whyyyyy
Did you just shorten "2021" to "2k21"? Fuck me.

Carbing in a growler 👎🏻
You’re lucky those didn’t explode before you opened them.
Can confirm, I had some exploded bottles. That batch was also bottled too soon.
Yes. Very lucky. I did this once and had a bottle explode and hit the 8 foot ceiling. I'm still finding pieces of glass in the rafters...
@@MVerstappen i've never had a bottle explosion - at most, bottle caps flying up.
Entertainment has many forms!! Thanks for the laugh 😂
i fucked up the carbonation but my dad still drank it lol stone cold alcoholic
