I started woodworking when I was 12 years old and built my first treehouse. Since then, I have slowly learned more and more about woodworking and I try to get 1% better each day.
One day, I hope to bring my woodworking journey full circle and build luxury treehouses filled with a craftsmanship.
In the meantime, I would love for you to join me as I take on woodworking projects, review tools, and give you ideas and inspiration to build something yourself.

Great video, where do you buy your material from?
bora uses 3/4 inch dog holes. I wonder if they'd be too loose in the festool 20 mm
This is very helpful
Good! Glad it was helpful
Most of my cutting boards are edge grain and one thing that draws customers at shows is the variety of colors. Especially when I include purpleheart, canary, padauk, along with light woods and other dark wood. I never put feet on cutting boards so they can be used on both sides. I put finger grips on the ends. Every board includes a free can of board butter. Having some $5 products available catches attention and often increases the total sales.
Using exotic woods is a game-changer!
not sure why you put water on it and then sanded it again, you only want to take the high spots off after water with your final grit its a very light sanding, otherwise you sand it all back and it does nothing for you once you get under the layer you raised
TIP........ Odies oil is twice the cost of ACKS abrasive and Acks carnuba wax, there is no better on cutting boards or applied on anything else Ben.
As soon as you said, Finish- I was thinking of Odie’s Oil and hoping you didn’t submerge the cutting boards in mineral oil. I understand mineral oil keeps leaching which kinda grosses me out at the thought of it. 😬 But you just need a tiny few dabs of Odie’s compared to so much other finishes- I love that stuff! Thanks for great tips- on my way to see the other videos! 👍🌟🤘
I really think Odie’s Oil pays for itself because of how long it lasts and how quick and easy it is to apply.
Ladder for use or "ladder" for hanging blankets/towels would be cool. Or a step stool/chair?
why would it scare milwaukee its the same company lol shows how little you know
Love your videos! Just getting into projects like this. Where do you get your lumber from ? I’ve been looking on marketplace or local sawmills but local sawmills around me don’t have hardwood.
Thank you! I get a lot of hardwoods by the pallet from Keim’s hardware in Ohio. Woodcraft also has a good selection, but can be pricy
Good on ya, mate! thanks for the insigths. Very very nice stool by the way. Please, keep these videos coming. Cheers
How long to you let the watco oil sit before you apply the Howard’s conditioner?
wawo, i wanted to work on this stuff after watching your video. but I know my skills, they suck full time, but the way you show feels like easy
Loved it. It’s a beauty. 👍👍 And thanks for the great tips. That silicone mold is a great time saver.
So you mean I can enter through the END grain and connect it into the face or edge grain? Just not enter from the end grain? thanks for the video
That's a great question, I think you're correct.
The word you’re looking for is mirrored sir 😊 and where in Alabama ?
Nice work. Did you pour epoxy in the holes?
Ryobi’s 18v compact barrel grip hp jigsaw has the auto feature.
A down cut blade will push most of the dust below the board and minimize the dust on the cut line. They're also great for use on a laminated top to prevent chip outs.
Why didn’t you test it with the dust collector attached to a vac? Along with those 2 new modes
Pretty sure that’s what that clear plastic guard is for.. Not for some kind of “safety feature” but, part of the vac system.

Yes, I’m already a subscriber.
Thanks, really enjoy your channel. Ordered this jigsaw from Home Depot about 1 week ago and it should arrive on Wednesday, February 5th. I have a question. I need to cut rubber/soft plastic baseboard that’s about 3 inches tall and 1/4 inch thick. What blade speed should I use? Slower so as not to melt the material? Or does it matter? Thank you.
Thank you so much! When you get your owners manual, check there, but I would recommend 3-4.
300 x 450 - perfect
How thick did you make ur coasters?
Usually about 3/4”
You made a very helpful video for those of us who are needing advice in regard to pocket holes. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
We always enjoy your videos Ben! Thanks for demonstrating our templates and molds!
Of course! They are the real deal!
I made it by myself. I used WoodPrix woodworking plans for that.
What a great guide, Ben!
Thank you so much!
ah sì sì la resina epossidica è ottima per uso alimentare 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great tool review! I just bought this, and not to be an idiot, could you tell me how you got the attachment for the hose connection on? I have tried, and I am so afraid I will break it. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
I had this model and it worked OK on some 3/4 plywood cutting 8 inch 1/4 rounds. It wondered right to left a bit, but the deal breaker was the trigger. It was either super slow(unusable), slow (metal speed) and the full power. I really had to move slowly cutting the rounds, but it did works. I had more roundness clean up than I expected. I returned it and went with the HP version that had a "special buy" deal at home depot.
I saw your every single video and your content is really impressive 👏 but I saw your Thumbnails need some improvement if you improve them you can grab more attention from people on RUclips I can create a Free thumbnail for your next video and if you like it i can make more for you 😊 Send me your email for further discussion Looking forward to your response ☺️
For me this one has been good for framing or making quick cuts on plywood for anything else you'll find yourself grabbing a bigger one of you have one. I like this because it decrease fatigue but if I'm not making that many cuts i just get the bigger sibling, If you're a diy'er get a sidewinder
I agree this probably should not be the only circular saw in the shop. Or even the first circular saw to buy.
Appreciate the video and info
what epoxy resin do you use for a kitchen cutting board?
Fun video young man , great to see young people with an interest in wood working. The dog hole blocks and clamps are the only things there worth having. Add up the dollars you spent on all the other little gimic bits and think . A centre finder can be made with scraps of wood and you could drill a hole to suit your pencil. Most jigs and measuring aids can be made for no real cost from scraps. I'm an old man and i have bought various ( good idea) at the time things that in reality just don't get used,, or dont really work. Save your $$$ and just enjoy your passion and livelyhood. Just remember..the more tools you have means more storage needed and more time wasted searching for them .
Any info on the food grade finish you used, thanks!
In the description of this video, I have a link to the finish I used. Since making this cutting board, I have started using Odie’s Oil on some of my boards and it is amazing as well. Hope this helps!
These Milwaukee drills are terrible! You are reviewing the wrong tools!! Milwaukee fuel tools are the only ones to buy! If it's not fuel I rather buy skill from harbor freight.
this tool is to weak. i use it with m12 5ah battery and after longer cut it gets overheated cutting 22mm plank. better use m18 ccs55 saw
That wax melter is $75. I found a crockpot at goodwill for $4
I feel bad for you! If I doesn't say "Fuel" on it don't by it!
I am looking to rent a router... well i think i need a router.. so i have ryobi tools and batteries at home and i have a subwoofer box that i need to cut into and make a hole for a new wire terminal... looking at diff tools that will let me cut into the initial plastic layer and eventual wood layer
Why didn't you pour epoxy all the way to the top instead of having to plan down the board?
Usually the epoxy “settles” a bit, so the cured epoxy will be lower than the initial pour.
Nice video with lots of information. Thank you
That’s not even the best one they make either. The HP barrel type one is epic
Awesome, thank you!
