Can I use this method for a system where the speed of sound varies with density abruptly and with circular boundary conditions (vibrations in a sphere where the radius is decreasing with time at constant velocity)? Or conversely, the same problem on a circle, where the radius increase at constant speed and the liner density decreases and the velocity of sound decreases with density abruptly?
