Wished I lived in the States. Up here on Canada; the yarn is $14.99 for one ball. Everything's chesper in the USA!😮
So pretty! Love the transformation! Your Aunt looks so happy 😊
Hi thanks for sharing this video, I am curious about something as you're using vinyl, it looks slippery, so what's to keep the key fob together, I mean from the upper area where there is no sharp prongs going thru that one side, couldn't it start to slip its way out, if I was doing this with vinyl or nearly any type of material, I believe that I would first add a bit of glue into that inner upper area, where the hardware goes or maybe use a small piece of double-sided tape in the area & also on that outer area on the side where there's no prongs to secure it. I just found this video on a person making vinyl key fobs, she offers some very helpful info, so check this out, ruclips.net/video/4J7dydMBGYs/видео.html
So the htv is heat pressed onto the wrong side of the faux leather and then the thickness of the faux leather does not budge at the ends under the prongs. It is a really tight joining and it will not shift. No glue or tape necessary. I made these years ago and they’ve held up well. I still use one of them for my car keys every day and it still look brand new.
Hello, great tutorial! What is the size of the finished blanket?
Size will vary greatly by how big for small you make your loops. And over time it will stretch out some. I recommend getting the width you want with your first chain and then keep adding length until you are happy with the size. This large blanket covers my queen been.
Where can I find your tutorial you had for the jelly roll rugs? I really enjoyed it and learned so much from you. I can’t find it anywhere. Do you offer a class? Thank you in advance 😊
The video was removed by RUclips. I’m working to get it resolved. So sorry.
Aww! I hope they put it back on! Your tutorial was so informative and I love your style of teaching! It’s fantastic! If it’s back on, will I find it on your channel under videos?
I’m so bummed your video of making a Jelly Roll rug is gone? Your video was one of the best ones out there. I sure hope they get it resolved.
Yes I have to make edits to the video and hope to repost soon. Thanks for the compliments.
Muito lindo o seu trabalho. Estou no Texas e minha sogra me levou pra comprar os materiais ontem pra eu fazer o meu primeiro cobertor…Gratidão por compartilhar tanta sabedoria. ❤
Easy to follow. Great job. My friends and I are gonna try this. Thanks
Thank you for the feedback! Have fun making a blanket with your friends. How fun!
Thank you! Great tutorial!!!!
You’re welcome ☺️
Oh no. Lol
It happens to the best of us. No damage done.
Beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Fairly new to this, I've made 2 blankets so far but still watching tutorials to improve. Some people skip the first loop going back, I noticed you don't. Have you ever tried it that way?
I have not tried it that way. I want to keep my edges as straight as possible.
@@CraftwithBethany the people I've watched who do this say it does keep it straight plus it makes a braided edge. If I try it that way I'll report back LOL
What setting did you use to cut the stickers?
What machine are you using ?
Singer Heavy Duty 6800C ❤️
Hai where can i get this foot and can the foot use for singer denim 6335 model??
The foot is available on singer.com and you can check there for machine compatibility. ❤️
I agree with the prior comments about this being the best tutorial for these chunky hand crochet blanket. I too watched several; however, this one is truly the best! Thank you!!
Aww thank you. I really appreciate your kind words and feedback. ❤️
How many bundles of yarn did you use to make this blanket?
Around 9-10 skeins
How long did u take to make this?
Just a couple hours max. Once you find a groove and get your rhythm it goes pretty quick.
@@CraftwithBethany Thank you
Projector patterns instead of paper?!? That’s so stinkin’ awesome! 🤯
I’m 95% self-taught, but I’d LOVE to learn to make my garments look more professional. (I’ve never had complaints about anything I’ve ever made. “Real” seamstresses and sewists are often shocked by how good my seams look and how well my garments look even on the inside. I just would like to feel more like I know what I’m doing.) Any tips or resources I could benefit from? I’m almost 44. I started learning to sew when I was a kid. My dad always needed his dress pants shortened a bit and my mom got tired of altering them so she taught me how to hem by hand, and also how to sew on a button. I still hem by hand, and my stitches are nearly invisible. I only started using a machine about 20 years ago. Mom tried to teach me how to sew clothes and how to use patterns when I was a teenager, but I “would never need to know how to do that old fogey stuff” so I never let her teach me. Thank God for RUclips! It’s saved my hide more than once! 😂
That chair looks SO comfy! I need one! Where did you get it, please? ❤
I got a server for Christmas, and I still haven’t used it. I’ve been sewing for almost 20 years with a machine (several years longer by hand). I’m afraid of the unknown. lol
Which machine is that? I love it.
Whaaaaat?!? 🤯
Love it!!!
I have a question about your digital machine. Do you like it? Any tips or tricks you’d pass along? I just got the HD6800c. I’ve had computerized machines before, but this one is a bit different. I think I’m just apprehensive because it’s different than my old brother machines. (I just needed something heavy duty because I tend to sew a LOT when I’m sewing, and it has worn out my other machines. So I traded up, I hope.)
Love it & great job!
Beautiful ❤

What is the best size yarn to use for your first blanket, small, medium, or large
The yarn I used is linked in the description.
I am looking for measurements to make a chunky blanket for a queen bed, can you help?
I would look up the standard size of a queen comforter to when you start your blanket keep measuring your first chain until it’s the width of a queen comforter then start adding rows measuring as you go until it’s the length of a queen comforter.
How'd she do that
U can also burn the ends together to infuse the yarn together. Just be careful when doing so
Ive done it with clothes!
Makes sense! Quick easy fix
Hi I'm from Hamilton Ontario Canada
Beautiful 😻
Awesome ❤
What size do you cut the foam boards to?
Should the yarn be washed first? Can these blankets be washed in the washing machine?
N need to pre wash your yarn. And yes you can wash and dry your blanket when done. I recommend following the care instructions on your yarns
Thank you 😊
So I bought 5 and 5 of each color and want it to have more stripes. Would I just rotate after every few rows to the next color or finish a color? It’s my first time doing one of these
You can swap colors at any point you like. It looks most seamless if done at the end of a row.
How many loops and skeins for a baby blanket ??
It varies so much on how big you want the blanket and how big or small you make your loops. Keep measuring as you set your initial chain to set the width of the blanket and then go for as long as you desire.
The best part of this tutorial is that you’re camera is above you! So we can watch exactly what you’re doing. Thank you!!!
Love that beautiful
Where did you get your yarn winder? I'm having a horrible time finding one that will accept up to about a 10 oz skein.
It is linked in the description of the video. ❤️
How long does something like this usually take you?
Depending on the size just a couple hours. I do it in one sitting start to finish.
@@CraftwithBethany I like the way you explained everything You made it very easy to follow So thank you 😊
I Agree!!! This IS the Best tutorial! I am so glad I found your tutorial! I really feel confident that I can do it. Awesome job! 👏 Beautiful Blankets. After I complete my first one. I will definitely send you pics!
Thank you so much for the kind feedback. Can’t wait to see your finished blanket!! ❤️
Great tutorial! Where did you buy the fleece?
It was from Joann Fabrics.
I've seen others connect different color yarn or extra yarn with a lighter... I absolutely love the idea of the thread method better 😂 I'll be making my second blanket soon!❤
This was the best tutorial I have ever seen for this. I love that she doesn’t stop the video she speeds it up.
I did it three times and had to take it out each time
