CVHS Choirs performs at the annual Music for the Holidays program at the Allegheny County Courthouse in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Students traveled with the CVHS Orchestra on December 5th, 2024 after Thanksgiving Break to spread some holiday cheer. We are very grateful to keep this tradition alive.

In this recorded performances, students perform "God Bless America", The National Anthem, and "In Flanders Fields" to pay tribute to Veteran's Day.

Each 9/11, the CVHS Select Chorus pays tribute by performing the National Anthem on CVTV Live.

We are ONE month away from making beautiful music together again. Check out a highlight from our most recent concert. Our Select Chorus performed "Don't Stop Believing" from Glee, originally by Journey. Featuring soloists Jared Barr and Charlotte Kinslow.

Congratulations to our 7 seniors leaving the Choral Program and to all of the Class of 2024 for their accomplishments. The Choir performed the National Anthem accompanied by the CVHS Band as well as the Alma Mater. Cadenza and Select Chorus performed their traditional tune, "For Just A Little While" as well as Miley Cyrus', "The Climb".

THE CVHS Select Chorus participated in their first Music in the Parks competition with Kennywood Park on Saturday, May 18th. The group received 98 points, which was the highest overall score of the day. They placed 1st in their division, with a superior rating as well as took home "best overall choir". Our final collaboration with CVTV - Select Choir presents "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish from the Barbie movie. This is a small preview to our show Thursday, April 18th - What We Were Made For.

In honor of Black History Month, CVMS Chorus and Orchestra joined forces to perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing". Under the direction of Noah Woodward (choral) and Erika Pierce (orchestra), as well as students involved in the Middle School Media Team - we hope you enjoy!
