I'm lucky. I have several Nikon F cameras, a Nikon F2 and a Nikon F3.

In the late 70s I learned photograph on a Nikon F2 Photomic S (DP-2) borrowed from an older brother. After that I could only afford an FE, ended up with four over my 30 years of film photography, still have two in great condition. Now I shoot Nikon DSLRs and Fuji X, also a Z5, all of which I adapt my Ai/Ai-S lenses, but if I am going to shoot film now I usually reach for my Hasselblad 503, just a whole different result than 35mm film or digital FX

I had a photobook of Fan Ho at my grand father place growing and so my dream vintage camera became a Rolleiflex since Fan Ho used to shoot with that camera

In 1979 I bought a second hand Nikon F2A (7776812) for 600.00 which took almost all the money I had but I had no regrets. I actually made my own leather camera strap because I couldn't afford one as I needed any change leftover to buy film. 45 years later I still have the camera and the strap is still on it and it still works perfectly. Greatest camera ever made.

Great video. Nikon has been my system since I got the F in 1968. I sold my F2 for the FA as it has better metering and is lighter. Later I have aquired quite a few Nikons both film and Nikons are built to last.

I have a mint F2 Photomic. But prefer shooting my beat up F3 hp. It has aperture priority and feels better in hand.

The Nikon F2 is my dream camera. I purchased mine “brand new, never used” about 6 years ago and it’s the only camera I use still today. There is no other that can compare IMO.

I just bought a Nikon F2A (with the DP-11 viewfinder). It feels great, but I’m having two issues: (a) the meter seems to need calibration; and (b) the winder gets locked whenever I take a photo and the only way to release it is to fiddle with the T/L switch (I forget its name but it’s the ring around the shutter release button). I fear I may need a CLA, but the only repair service I’ve heard about is Mr. Wong’s, and he seems to be very expensive. Any suggestions?

In about 1960 my dad started letting me use his Kodak Bantam. All mechanical, fully adjustable, fun little camera. I had to use the "Sunny 16" rule. In '71 I bought my first SLR, a Konica AutoreflexT. I still shoot with that one. I have picked up a few other film cameras in the last three years. A few Nikons and the F2 is one of them. A few Pentax as well as Minoltas and Canons. I think I have enough to keep me shooting film for as long as I can get out and walk around. Middle Tennessee has plenty of good photo locations.

If you learn to pronounce NIKON properly (there is NO 'Y' in NIKON !) I watch the rest of your video. If you don't believe me ask NIKON its their company !

I started out with minolta cameras in 1977. About 1985 I found a used F2 Photomic in a pawn shop for under $250 with the 50mm f1.4 . After I had my first roll of film developed, I determined I was selling all my minolta gear and going all Nikon. That was the best move I ever made. Today I have 25 slr, film cameras including 8 Nikons and 15 NIKKOR lenses. One of the Nikon's is an F2A w/ MD-3 and MB2 battery pack.

My dream camera was a Hasselblad.. still is!

The F2 is, as you say, legendary. I have the AS and S models with a Nikon 55mm f1.2 and a Nikon zoom. The only downside (for me) is the weight. It would be nice to see a few examples of images you captured with your own F2's. By the way - your English is excellent.

Best hand assembled mechanical professional camera ever made bar none. Mine is fifty years old and still working perfectly. Like the day it left the factory . If you find a good one buy it,It will out live you.. Super super camera I love it❤

Die Statue 1:36 sieht um längen besser aus als die Lindenberg Fratze, schade das diesem Antidemokratischen Nazi überhaupt eine Statue gewidmet wurde. War ja schon schlimm genug dar der hier in Gronau als Ehrenbürger geehrt wurde.
