I am from germany and wanted to have a nice peace Silver Dollar. Since I can‘t just send the ones back that I don‘t like I chose the uncirculated one. I think the poof coins are a little bit too „over the top“. The uncirculated one just reflects the history of this and showed best how it was meant to be. Same with buffalo Gold coins. The proof version just looks more like a „tv shopping“ coin. I love the original design. But when it comes to high relief - the higher, the better.

I was army so the marine coin doesn't do much for me. But totally respect the coin and the marines. Love the challenge coins 🪙 have some myself. Definitely would like to see coins for all military branches.

Maybe a collector will give you a few dollars for the beautiful case, but it takes up a lot of space in your safe for almost no value. At best the medal is silver plated copper. It is usually made of aluminum or an iron alloy.
