Giovanni Battista Vitali - Duet for Viola and Violin
Giovanni Battista Vitali (1632-1692):
Midi version of the Allegro of Church-concerto number 1 where I transposed the Cello to a Viola, which gives a unique duet between the viola and the violin.
Partitions of the original version of cello+ 2 violins are available at the Petrucci Music library

The instrument was made in Provence, France in 2022, and has a body-length of 43 cm. The viola has 5 strings, where 4 are the regular strings while the 5th is used either as a resonance string or as an F3. More details on: www.fiolinverkstedet.no/product/2108
