6 inch dinger pumpkin chartruese on texas rig. Cut the chartruese tail 2 times to create 4 little tails. I do like those zoom motor oil worms a lot too (sometimes I cut a little off the tail in summer for some more action, when it's colder I leave the tail)

Glad I’m not the only that rocks that 7in power worm. Just found your channel and love your content. The lake I fish is really bad with grass this summer and Texas rigging a power worm is the only sane way for me to fish. Bass and pickerel have been killing them. I generally go with tequila sunrise or pumpkin seed. Keep up the good work and crushing the hogs bud.

I find using a smaller spoon lowers the chances on getting those nasty face hooks.

For catch & release Try either pinching down or filing the barbs on the treble hooks or switch out & use single hooks for your lures.

I took my Kayak out there a couple times this spring. First day I hooked a nice 4lb bass and a few other 2 pounders, and I caught a gigantic white crappie. The 2nd time out I caught a couple bass and a 10lb catfish on a wacky rigged senko on my lightest rod/reel combo. The 3rd time out it was starting to get hot in late june and I didn't catch anything. It seems like its more of a springtime lake. Ill head back in the fall to see if it heats back up when it cools down outside.
