The one with the tan bark sails appears to have a gaff rig. What matters more here is hull type? I see the smaller boat with white sails had a gaff rig too.

Oops..! I believe the idea is to stay *in* the boat rather than to fall backwards into the water. Unless I've misunderstood what sailing was all about for all these years...

I know the Enterprise is a somewhat unstable boat, but capsizing in wind of only force 2 really takes the biscuit... (Enterprise 21513). And as for Redwing 205, I had to chuckle. Needless to say, these are two boats I would think twice before wanting to sail in anything over a force 3. I've crewed in Hornet when it was gusting up to force 8, and it's a much more stable boat, strangely...

Man; those little boats are fast!! That's real sailing.
