Tbh, it does take a lot of headsots to get a kill. But i would run an ethernet cable from your modem to your console. It may help!

Bad aim and server connection are the worst of combinations. To improve this issue, checking modem and internet connection quality, make sure you are connected by ethernet, not wireless, and last but most important, lay off the right stick when shooting your weapon. Instead, use your left stick to strafe and stay on your enemy to get the best out of rotational aim assist. You should really only be slightly pulling down on your right stick while firing the weapon to control recoil. Hope this helps.

Skill based damage is the problem and Activision has out right admitted it. So for those of you saying it's internet wrong anyone saying it's a skill issue that's also wrong. I can't believe Activision got away with falsely advertising this game for a 4 year build date. The game is trash so glad I didn't buy it.
