It's been a while i haven't played platypus, for 3 years, and seeing this, and the most annoying mod video, yeah, i don't wanna try beating that, that looks too unfair lol (i didn't even watched the whole video, i'll try see how nightmare it is). It feels like Colossatropolis (yes, that's the name of the city) had enough and taken this crap too seriously (this is a stolen comment idea from the one video from Platypus Most annoying mod). Man! you people are advanced at making mods! adding more enemies to spawn in different areas huh? i don't know how to mod the game's codes, all i know is i am good at changing the sprites of the game, speaking of that, i'm back at rebooting my mod, even better, since the last mod is too much going on lol, anyways, it's nice to see Platypus again =^)

From 50:22 to 50:51, it is much better to pick wide shot since there are only kamikaze ships and boomerangs which only have 1 health.

As we may know, lightning is the ultimate weapon. However, when going against a large group of kamikaze ships in level 4 area 4, lightning isn't the best weapon to use here because the lightning doesn't leave behind any bullets. After that, the orange kamikazes spawn which can give you star after killing all of them. But, you don't get lightning anymore. Then, you need to fight the boomerang fish ships and kamikazes ships at the same time. In this case, using autofire (blue star) can be potentially better than lightning against kamikazes ships. I think this is pretty much the only specific scenarios where the lightning has disadvantage to other weapon.

I'm curious how long exactly to beating each bosses with only default gun, without spam fire and no weapon pods. And also how fast the lightning + weapon pods to beat the final boss. Can you test that with cheat?

Try without Cheat 😂

For level 3 area 1, you should give autofire (or star than can be changed) on the first star because if you using the wide shot, that would be much harder to get the weapon pods from the present. It's spread can hit the balloon accidently and the damage from each bullet is reduced.

This is like almost impossible on normal and hard difficulty because the power-ups will disappear if the player die.

I never thought some one would, or could, match the quality of Frank Klepacki's original soundtrack. Yet, this is even more specified for the mod. It's brilliant. Love the 80's style tuning into this game. It's just awesome listening to!
