15 Artists I discovered in 2022
What a year it has been my friends. Lots of events, lots of changes in life, but most importantly, lots of music. I very likely spent more time this year with my headphones on than off, and that also meant discovering many new songs and many new singers. Several of those I was playing on repeat for quite some time, and this video is my way to honour my fifteen favourites among them. This is my 3rd year doing this little tradition, and it's always great to go back into the past with these videos, they're like little time capsules.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do, support all of the artists in this list, I promise they are worth your time 😊

Yugoslavia 1983: Daniel Popovic's song "Dzuli" was pretty much "inspired" by Shakin' Stenvens' hit record "Oh Julie" (pronounced the same as "Dzuli") released one year before.

The european song contest died when i treni di tauzeur did not win. My musical taste is more in the alternative corner but this still gives me goosebumps. The jurors the must have been either political or low compentent low lifes.

Puff, vaya tres canciones en el top 3, Dansevise es (para mi) realmente la 1ª gran canción del certamen, Ofra Haza canta la mejor canción de Israel en el festival (solo le hace algo de competencia la de 1991), y ... simplemente I treni di Tozeur es mi canción favorita entre todas las presentadas al certamen en toda su historia.
Eres tú (Spain 1973) best song ever. La la la (spain 1968) should be in the top ten. Waterloo from ABBa in the top 5.

Beautiful video. Brings back wonderful memories , songs I forgot and others before my time. Watched the first in 71 with 13 on the old black tv from my fantastic late grandma. Miss her still. Abba won in Brighton on my 16th birthday on April 6th, 1974. Five years later I bought both top songs from Israel and Spain. Greetings from Germany
