Gualala - Mac DeMarco - an imperfect cover
This one is really awesome. I love how much ground it covers and how epic it feels for being only one minute long!
i listen to this song anytime im editing its really relaxing
this changed my life
🤘
Excellent job on the guitar takeover. I think I'm gonna try that starting beneath the synths and then soaring above trick on some something.
Big power chords and a whammy bar into a bended 5th will always sound good :)
The sort of pedaling sound to the arp/acid line and the extreme number of turns in the footage both work well together.
Its good to see someone having a sense of humor in the ever so ernest youtube music space :). cheers!
Great job integrating the band and electronic elements. Thats always something I struggle with.
Appreciate the comment! I’m a big new wave guy and feel like that’s such a good blend of synth and guitar. You sort of learn to balance them…
love it
Thanks!
Really nice..
it's FEET not inches! LOL

Super cool Bass Sound! Thanks and Kindly regards from cologne in Germany 😊
sick . keep it up (im a real person tho fr good song)

The bots seem to vibe with this one 😂
I like how deep the bass goes and how high those glitchy leads get, and yet they come together to leave just the perfect anound of space for the keys and drums :)

Very cool. I hope to see more of this.
0:27 16 Inches???? Hahahaha that would be a very very high pitch....That is even shorter than....Feet, those are feet/foot.....As in organ-pipe lenght....16 inch is somewher about a None, or one sixteenth (Unison), XVI (numbered) fundamental.
Yeah a few people have pointed that out! Mix up on my part
Shit I got the gas and bought mini nova and circuit track wish I would have seen this first zero fuckin menus on this badboy. Dam no wonder it's 4 times what I paid
I’m looking at a mini nova. I like that it’s polyphonic though
What is rubber bass?
Very nice! I very much enjoy fingers on the keys type videos!
I love this! I'll be dancing to this for sure! Thank you so much! Where can I find the kicks you used?
Don’t have the PO-33 that had the samples on it but pretty sure it’s just a 909 kick pitched down!
@@superlean5991 Sweet, thanks! I'm gonna have some fun with that kick myself then!
I like it at 1.5x It sounds a bit like Fallen Angels - Biophonic, crossed with one of those "music tracker" tunes from the '90s, that I can't quite place.
Thanks for listening! Def sounds interesting at 1.5x. I played around with the tempo a bit in Ableton and settled around 127 but a little speed never hurt nobody :)
Beautiful!
Great first note/chord/drum hit. Its always cool but rare, when the instant you start a song you know it's going to be a good one.
Thank you!! Just a lazy saturday jam.
hi, i'm trying to do one of these AC-style briefings myself for a tabletop campaign. is there any way you could post some sort of tutorial or something? or explain briefly how you did it? thanks for showing your work, it's very inspiring
Hey - sorry for the long delay in response as I took a break from all this stuff. Are you still interested in a tutorial?
@superlean5991 I am! Unfortunately I'm not doing a tabletop campaign anymore but I love ace combat and I would love to still learn how to do this!
@@RemTVcool, no guarantees but I’ll keep it in my creative list of to-dos as I think that’d be fun. I’ll ping you back here if / when i post that
@superlean5991 thank you for considering it!!!
Sounds insane. I love it.
Hahah nice
