My humble bet is... They're teens and Mitch wasn't in love with Scott, but wanted him in his life so bad. Tehn cut for an adult Scott, and the man is a partner Mitch would like to tie the knot with. Guess sometimes we're just young enough to know better, and it's normal, and it's ok. Nobody's fault, just the way life is. There's so much I've never thought I would like or dislike throughout the years. Edit: bit/but

Happily Scott and Mark have been together for 3 years now. Scott seems so happy and in Love. Delighted for him.

I wish they were together because they are perfect for each other, but if they don't then I can accept that, Scott is in a relationship, and they live apart now. I'm not sure if mitch is single, but it seems like he is. Whatever happens in the future it's their choice, if they get together again I'll be beyond myself with happiness, but if they don't I can understand that and I want them to be happy.

Scott will always and forever have that “when we were 17” love for Mitch. You can always see it in his eyes. It’s heartbreaking, too, because he also knows Mitch doesn’t feel that way about him. In a perfect world, they would be the perfect couple. But sadly, this world ain’t perfect. I feel sad for Scott and bad for Mitch.

Man...its so clear from their old tweets that their timeline in the Superfruit book is not right at all. Interesting. Mitch went and visited him in 2011 and they kept tweeting each other when Scott went to college?? That doesn't sound like they 'grew distant' that year....or even the '1st half of 2010' when they were filming those videos with Kirstin. It just makes me wonder how much info about their relationship that they held back.
